Help needed with posting FanFic

I just started writing a fan fic the other night and i have the first chapter done. I have no idea what the best way to post it is...can somepony help me please.

Agreed with this. however, let me make sure you understand a few things before you Publish it on the site.

 

Make sure your grammar is correct or as correct as possible. Mistakes happen don't obsess over it, but don't just throw huge errors everywhere. That community is nice, yes, but if they see a bad story, some turn vicious.

 

Also; don't be discouraged if you don't get featured. Just keep writing for your own personal enjoyment. You'll be discovered soon enough.

out of curiosity. If i submit the story, will i still be able to add chapters to it, or will it stop me from adding more? also will it change its status to complete or will i have to do that manualy?

Im no english professor nor am I an english major but I know how to write. I try not to have errors. When I do I try to go and correct them asap.

Here's the process.

 

You make the Title of the story, a small 2 sentence or so synopsis, the brief teaser paragraph.

 

Then you choose which ponies are relevant in the story. This is done through simply clicking on images. (They also have one for Background Ponies and OC). Finally a title cover (if you have one).

 

After this, you'll have the story listed on your page. You can then add chapters and they will only be added to the community after you submit it and click PUBLISH.

 

Every time you add a new chapter, your story is bumped onto the front page (like our forum list).

 

When you are done, just find the button that says COMPLETED and it will let others know it is finished

You'll be able to post multi-chapter fanfics at any site for fanfics.  That's how they all operate.
