What did you do with your day?

Mare in the Moon

I visited my sister at her apartment, met her cat, visited with my cousin and her baby, watched Bluey, went to Walmart, bought Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on DVD, played Nicktoons: Globs of Doom, walked on the treadmill, and took a shower.

I took a walk outside, worked on a couple of videos for my Youtube channel, went over to my grandmas house for some family time, helped set up an Easter egg hunt, and took a shower.

I watched It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown twice, took two walks outside, and worked on two videos for my YouTube channel. I guess you could say I had a double day.

I spent most of the day sorting through stuff that got left behind after my ex left in November.  I still have a lot left to go through.

Other than cleaning up and talking with family members? I sat and listened to music on Youtube, trying not to get too stressed out about things. Some things are beyond the scope of what we can do to do anything about, complaining does not help when it leads to stress and ruins sleep patterns. Good to know people here care though.

Saw live streams of a recent new game and slept, I woke up almost a hour ago, barely drew today. I really don't know why I'm sleeping so much ultimately, something might be wrong :unsuresweetie:

I continued watching Power Rangers Dino Fury, watched A Dog’s Way Home, cried my eyes out while watching it, went to the grocery store, took a walk outside, and worked on two videos for my YouTube channel.

Had a good lol.

Also witnessed an emergency team with full on hard hats and high vis vests as well as nurses place a ladder up onto the balcony straight above us because the guy above had a bit too much to drink and had collapsed, so that was curious lol

I continued with the week-long process of helping my mom clean out and rearrange her storage unit. We do this once a year so I always think it’ll be quick and easy, but as usual I was wrong. But I intend to get back to painting tomorrow (hopefully) and more of a normal routine.

I spent the whole day learning programming, watching programming videos and searching for programming books. After a while I will watch programming videos again.

Sipping tea, listening to music, talked with family downstairs, the usual.

I was talking with some people on this forum about what they don't get is so popular as well, and it's a good thread to discuss.

I was critiquing bad decisions heroes make in fiction, though I suppose some of their decisions are better than nations acting like world police in real life.

I could imagine it, I have a lack of trust in institutions and there are good reasons for it because they often cause more violence than solve, from police brutality to foreign aggression. I sometimes do wish we had a Justice League to clean up their mess. DCAU is a good storyline in my opinion as it goes into detail of what would happen, if law enforcement had a conflict with superheroes, Project Cadmus I think it was called.

Thankfully in Batman Beyond that issue got resolved and the cloning experiments however well intentioned got outlawed, but I doubt it would go down the same way if this were to occur in real life, why? because if such a technology like Cadmus were to happen, it would become very profitable and it would be easy to abuse.

Justice League may not be on the right side of the law all of the time in DCAU fiction, but then neither are people we have in power IRL, they break laws as well. It comes down to who does it more often or who is worse.

This may not be a popular opinion but I'd trust Justice League more than them. It is highly conceivable that authorities would choose to do nothing about corrupt business people, Lex Luthor does not exist but people like him do exist in real life.

I was on the level of cleaning also @Dreambiscuit:devious:  That being my room.  The reward for these chores, dinner from Subway.

Tell me it's another portrait you're panting:arethosehands:

Hey, I want a Subway reward too! I feel ill-used! Lol

The current painting does center on a human subject, so yes, I guess it’s a portrait. I’m still trying to figure out the complicated background though. :rarity:

Brainstorming different ideas to throw in for my MLP fanfic

Like at the point when Chrysalis starts attacking, the timeline plays out differently to the show version or even the comic version.

When she drains energy from citizens of Equestria, as she lets out a sinister laugh, she says something in creepypasta fashion "Stop squirming! I'm predator, you're prey, deal with it!"

I'm not wasting time adding a plot with the human world at this part. Why Chrysalis would even bother with that I don't know, she has no use for humans, their world has no magic, they don't live very long so she would probably think humans are not fit to even be her slaves, and having a distraction would weaken her forces in Equestria.

There is going to be more drama in my fan fiction version than Hasbro's official one. Don't get me wrong, slice of life is appropriate sometimes, but the lack of adventure and thrills did my head in and made me lose interest after the 5th season of the show, I had to look up the other parts to know what happened later on. Some people couldn't even be bothered to watch that much, I like action packed shows that show some villains are not redeemable and have to be dealt with swiftly and decisively. I don't watch shows just to watch people talk like it's a soap opera all the time, that to me is boring.

Edit: I'm of the opinion some fight scenes are needed to deal with the monotony of the show while at the same time adding a sense of progression and realism in the story. that is part of the reason why I like Transformers series as well, they don't shoehorn the slice of life aspect on viewers too much, and they acknowledge the villains as an active threat so long as they are free to cause problems. With Queen Chrysalis in MLP it's like, every time she encounters a new magic to battle Mane Six with, outside of that she is hardly ever mentioned.
