Ask Rambler and Co.

Because I get bored easily, I figured I might as well give this a shot. Whatever questions you have for me or my OCs, I'll do my best to answer. If you don't specify who you're asking, you'll get an answer from whoever I feel like writing for at the time, or just from me if I'm feeling lazy and uncreative. I suppose I should probably add a list of my OCs, although there's a pretty good chance I'll miss at least one of them.

Rambler- The merry wanderer. My go-to OC.

Flint- Rambler's half-brother, and often seen as little more than a less intelligent and charming version of him. Very simple and straightforward.

Emerald- Rambler's son. Except when he's Rambler's cousin. Or Rambler's brother. It's kind of complicated.

Lost Knowledge- The brilliant professor.

Ghaoth Oiche- Lost Knowledge's student. A true free spirit.

Asteron- The old soldier.

Big Thunder- The strong, silent type.

Raptor- The griffon supremacist assassin.

Gal Rush- The short-fused musclehead.

Gladius- The loyal knight.

Scurry- He's surprisingly smart... for a Diamond Dog, anyway.

Cloak and Dagger- The mysterious duo.

Gentle Wind- "Do no harm"

Silver Sky- I still can't believe I finally broke down and made an alicorn.

@,

Raptor: I guess I can respect her rebellious side, but she's still a pony. Besides, I don't have much respect for writing instead of action. I wouldn't hesitate to kill her, but I might feel bad about it afterwards.

Me: Believe it or not, that's a compliment.

@,

Raptor: You guard the tyrant Celestia. Your military has oppressed my kind ever since she ascended to the throne. I don't like you. At all. But you may be a worthy opponent, if nothing else.

@,

Raptor: I could care less. I act not for glory, but for the good of my kind.

Me: That would be pretty cool. I don't know how you'd fit him in, though.

Maybe when Minath is admiring everything she could see him or something?

Raptor: Just don't make me look weak.

How would all your OCs feel about a brief cameo?

Rambler: Well, I hope it's more than just a brief cameo *wink*.

Flint: Sure, I guess.

Emerald: It would be my pleasure.

Lost Knowledge: I don't know that I'm really worth writing about, but I certainly won't stop you. Who knows, maybe it will help me earn a name for myself in the academic community.

Ghaoth Oiche: If Lost is in it, I want to be in it too.

Asteron: I guess it might be interesting. Go ahead.

Big Thunder: *Shrugs*

Gal Rush: Sure, it might help me with the mares.

Gladius: I don't seek fame or glory, but I won't reject them, either.

Me: I don't see why not. Don't go out of your way to work them in if you don't want to, though.

@,

Me: Again, it's up to you. Anyway, how's it going? I can't wait to read more.

Rambler: Neither can I. *Wink*

Flint: Wait, is she finally going to put out for you?

Rambler: *Glares*

Emerald: *Rolls eyes*

@,

Rambler: Flint, you don't get to answer that.

Flint: But I-

Rambler: Nope, you've lost the privilege to speak in polite company for a while.

Emerald: Agreed.

Rambler: Anyway, I really don't know what you should call it. I'm sure you'll come up with something.

Emerald: Sorry, but I'm no good with titles. I don't have much experience with romance anyway, so I there isn't a lot for me to draw on.

Me: Sorry, I'm pretty worthless at coming up with titles. I usually just wait until something just sort of magically comes to me.

@,

Me: Um... maybe you can fit Emerald Isle in the title somewhere? It has a nice poetic sound to it. Of course, then it sounds like it's about Emerald. So.... yeah, I'm not very good at this. Just focus on the story itself for now.

@,

Well, at least I tried, right? You could try looking up nicknames for Ireland, and that might give you some inspiration. There are lots of different names for Ireland.

New characters added. You can now ask my as-yet unused OCs Cloak and Dagger whatever questions you might have.

@,

All: *stare at each other awkwardly*

Rambler: Um... maybe me? He certainly uses me the most.

Lost: I think I'm... kind of like him except he's not as accomplished and isn't scarred by the tragic death of a loved one.

Me: I have no idea. I never really made a proper ponysona, but in a lot of ways, Rambler is sort of what I'd like to be if you removed my social anxiety disorder. Of course, I'm infinitely nerdier than he is. I guess none of them are very close.

@,

Cloak: Well, technically Cloak and Dagger aren't our real names, so there's those. I usually go with something simple like Sunny Skies, the weather pony or Fleetwing, the flight instructor. Dagger's been doing this a lot longer than I have, so he probably has too many to count.

Dagger: Yeah, I have so many I can't even remember all of them myself. But my favorite one is probably- wait a minute, why am I telling you this? This stuff is secret.
