(Lets just say Pinkie Pie fell asleep on the ride, and Silver as well.)

 

While Twilight and Apollo were waiting, she looked back at the Chariot, noticing some snoring. She walked over to the chariot.

"Pinkie Pie! Silver! Nows not the time for a nap, we gotta go with the plan!

"Follow me." *Apollo said in a very serious voice. He started walking to the North end of the castle.*

"Nggh... I no, wait... that won't burn the sofa right..." Silver snorted and kicked a leg and hit Pinkie in the side. From this, and from Twilight's voice, the party pony woke first.

 

"Wha....? You're not Gummy... Oh, hi Twilight," Pinkie yawned. "Are we there yet?"

Twilight saw the guards were being ordered by Static, so she tried to think of positions for Pinkie and Silver.

 

"The plan is currently in progress, Pinkie. Static and Power distracted the guards, Rainbow is on lookout, and me and Apollo are going to sneak into Princess Celestia's throne. Im not sure what you can do now Pinkie... do you know any way you can help?

Ten went off to the market square at the north end of the castle. Checking to make sure nopony followed him, he sneaked up behind one of the biggest, meanest looking vendor he could find and tapped his shoulder.

"What the hay do you think you're doing buddy?" "This is from a friend" Ten handed the stallion a magazine and disappeared into the alleyway behind the stand.

The vendor was confused at first, but then his curiosity took over as he glanced down at the magazine in his hoof. It weighed a lot heavier than it should have. He flipped it open, and it fell open on the centerfold. Inside there was a note and a stack of bits glued to the page. (In ten minutes, a group of guards will come into the square. You and your other vendors will pick a fight with the guards. Do this and you will be rewarded. Fail, and you will be punished.) His heart stopped <I guess I dont have much of a choice>

Ten was already back at the barracks. He slid in through a window and spotted Static sitting alone. He walked up behind him and whistled the tune before slinking off out the window again, all before Static turned around.

Static stood up as he heard the whistle, "Allright fillies, take up formation! I've got orders to send us out on patrol, starting at town square"...

Twilight and Apollo began to head to the throne.

"Right behind you!" Silver added as he trotted along side the two ponies. "Honestly, its a miracle we weren't caught and beheaded by now... except well, Twilight, you'd probably get magic kindergarten. And Apollo would just be grounded." he smirked.

*Apollo just rolled his eyes at that comment.*

"Here, we've reached the entrance to the passage."

*Apollo placed his hoof on a small discolored panel on the castle wall. The panel slid in, and a doorway opened up nearby.*

"Now I need the both of you to be ready to fight. My mom keeps some ferocious beasts in there that show mercy to nopony."

*Apollo spread his wings and they began to gain heat and small embers began flying off of them.*

"Now I'll go first, then Twilight, and Silver, you watch our backs. On three, run as fast as you can."

*Apollo explained to them.*

"One........ Two......... THREE!!!"

*Apollo ran through the doorway and through the hallway into the cavernous space beyond.*

"Stay on the path!" *Apollo pointed out the white line along the ground.* "That is the only solid ground!"

Twilight ran as fast as she could, dodging anything in the way. SHe tried to keep her hooves on the white line.

"This is crazy, but we gotta pull through!"

Silver followed last in line, his mane billowed with a light whirlwind he prepped around himself. He could hear snarling, but stayed focused on keeping his hooves in row. "This - is - MADNESS!" he called ahead to the others, but in more of a woot than shout. Honestly, he found all the action, and even some of the danger, fun. He called again, "How much further is this path, Apollo?"

Apollo was too far to respond, so he sent the message to Twlight.

"Only a bit longer! This isn't so bad, though. I had worse times, like facing Discord!"

Silver's eyes went a bit wider at the mention of that name. "Discord!?" He suddenly remembered that when Discord had trolled Ponyville to the likes it had never seen before, he had been brainwashed into trying to make the ground rain and plant a garden in the air. Yeah, good times. he shuddered, shook his head, and called to Twilight, "Right! I'll blow anything that comes from behind from here back to Everfree!"

"Yeah, I nearly lost faith in my friends thanks to him, but I pulled through! Wasn't easy, though."

Power Ten watched as the guards approached the square. Spotting Static at the lead, Ten made his way down closer to the group. When he was close enough, he tossed a firecracker into the opposite alleyway and used the distraction to slip Static a note. It read: when you see a shopkeeper approach your men, run into the book store.

The shopkeeper Ten had "persuaded" earlier came stumbling up to the patrol, along with almost every other vendor in the market. He shoved one of the guards over and threw a bit at him. "tell yer mother she can keep the change for such a good job last night!"

The guard roared in anger and bucked the offender right in the jaw. The other store owners saw this and rushed in to defend their friend. The guards followed suit. Soon a massive conflict began to break out.

Static rolled his eyes and chuckled, "So glad I could make it". He then picked up one of the magazines with a raised eyebrow, "I don't get it, why look at pictures of hot mares displaying themselves instead of going for the real thing? That's MUCH better than paper you know".
