setting: It's the night before Twilight's coronation ceremony, and she and the others are staying in Canterlot to get ready for the next day's festivities.  Cadence and Twilight's friends are rallying the other ponies to make the ceremony very special for Twilight, and no doubt Shining Armor is proud of her. But since he's her brother and he knows how she freaks out if things don't go to plan he can't help but worry.

 

[shows Shining Armor in Celestia's throne room near the door, watching Twilight talking and laughing with her friends from afar.

His expression is somewhat forlorn and deep in thought. He turns and walks out of the castle onto the streets and begins to sing]

 

Don't taint this ground with the color of the past
Are the sounds in bloom with you?

 

-Shining Armor remembering their one and only fight and her anxiety, and him asking her from afar to try and hold it together -

 

[shows the street in BBBFF when Twilight bumps into him, the image of that song silhouetted on the buildings behind him instead of his own shadow]

-Him expressing his knowledge that anything could set her off and encouraging her to enter the role of Princess slowly, one step at a time-

 

[-instrumental break- He walks through the streets, looking at the other ponies setting up for the ceremony. He walks past and glances toward a choir of Crystal Ponies practicing]

--Shining Armor singing about her experience in the elite Unicorn school she was enrolled in when she was little, how she was almost broken when she (at first) failed to hatch Spike's egg and her brief lack of control of her magic.  He also is expressing his fear that since she's a princess now she may not need him anymore-

 

[shows him walking past the outside of the school, looks up at the tower where she had her entrance exam and smiles a bit. He's remembering how proud of her he was when she told him]

-He's singing about his wedding, about how even though they were on better terms than that day he still feels guilty for not believing Twilight and listening to her warnings, and how he owes her more than just his life.-

 

[shows him walking back into the now-empty throne room, looking at the stained glass window installed from that day]

-now it's about Twilight when she was corrupted by Discord and her hope for saving Ponyville was almost crushed, but in the end she managed to save her friends with her determination-

 

[shows him looking at the other stained-glass windows, all of Twilight's accomplishments with her friends and rise to position as Princess]

[shows Shining Armor nearby singing his heart out, images of his fears for Twilight playing around him]

 

-Shining Armor remembering Twilight's battle with Discord and her 'game' in the maze and ultimately defeating him, and he knows that her cunning and wit saved Equestria, but what if she uses it for the wrong reasons? Will she listen if he tries to stop her from doing so?-

 

[instrumental, he walks back to the entrance of the throne room to be greeted by an excited Twilight, and he smiles at her somewhat reassured but his worry is still evident on his face]
