Explanation for how Starburst came back to life:

 

The plant was ineffective due to the trotter virus inhibiting it's effects, so Starburst "died", when the cure was used, the trotter virus was cleared from both dead and living, the plant took effect due to the trotter virus not being present and Starburst was alive, healed of all injuries.

I'll describe the effects of a bite:
Within a few hours, the victim starts to lose consciousness more often. A few more hours and they can hardly move, even more hours and the victim can't move. Then they die. Within a minute after that, the virus attaches itself to your brain stem and turns you into a "trotter"

What kind of things, I know you hear this a lot, (most likely), but bronies are a very helpful group of people who more often than no can relate to your problems. I'm assuming it's school-related that's all.
