"I dont know Josh, perhaps these Barricades arent meant to keep ponies from getting in, but rather from keeping something from getting out." she said, noticing there were no entrances to the barricade

Josh smiled "then it's something bad to kill but I want to find out ill fly up and see if I can get in would you like to accompany me or go in search of your family? I understand if you wish tlk hurry to the second option"Josh flew up and saw a window that anypony could for through one at,a time

Grand wasnt sure she wanted to play around with this fortification just yet. "I think I'm going to keep looking for supplies. We may be here awhile!" she said, walking back to where she saw the Saloon sign. She used her magic to pick up a wooden plank, just in case. she entered the saloon, where she killed a lone walker before moving on. The saloon`s alcohol was completely gone, but several bags of peanuts were in a cabinet under the bar. "I suppose its something" she said, dropping the peanuts into her saddlebag. She would have to make two trips. She decided to head back to the train to drop it off

Josh entered the building through the window and took out a flash light he shone it around the room he was in and immediately going exactly what he was looking for and not just one katana but two "sweet" He said as he took them. Behind hike he heard a strange scuttling noise and upon turning around he saw a giant bug of some kind with pincers about to close around him "oh no no no no no" Josh immediately shot out of the window without looking back and made it back to the train

No nothing wrong Josh smiled just a giant bug in a blacksmith store nothing huge. But I found two katana" he stared at them metal katana "yay" josh sat down and opened his notebook again flicking back to the page that had made him frown earlier that morning hoping that somehow it could have changed "yea we saw him don't know where he is now though"

Zeta was startled by Josh's quick arrival back on the train. From the look on his face, it seemed like he was just startled by something. But what could it be?

Hesitantly, he questioned him in a whisper. "Is there something wrong Josh? And also, did you locate Zycrin?"

Ghost burst through the top of the train and got up without a scratch. "Zeta, Zycrin is coming for you first. You're in grave danger, my friend." He knew that his old enemy was waiting. Waiting for the right moment to strike and eliminate his contracted target.

Dark smiled and glanced at Tempest. "How do you always find a way to get pulled into these types of adventures?" She asked.

 

Tempest laughed slightly and shrugged. "To be honest with you, Dark, I have no idea." He said. While he was trotting through Appaloossa, Tempest found a few twinkies, along with a few jars of pickled peaches in a cabinet in one of the houses. "At least they aren't pears." He muttered to himself. The cyan pegesus put the food in his saddlebag, before trotting back to the train.

Lady woke with a stretch and a small yawn. She blinked her eyes free of sleep and scanned the area trying to remember where she was. /Oh yeah, we're on the train./ She suddenly realized only Zeta, Ghost and Josh were on the train though. And the train itself had no longer been moving. "Where is everypony? Are we in Appleoosa?"

Thunder Roller trotted through Appleloosa.She hadn't noticed Zycrin yet and was completely unaware of his presence.The group was in need of some food so she decided to check the general store to see if anything was left. Inside a few bags of oats and jugs of water remained. She trotted outside and shouted. "Hey everypony! I found some oats and water over here!"

Grand unloaded the peanuts from her saddlebag before looking up at ghost, who seemed worried. "Seems I've missed something important" she said, checking behind her to make sure there wasn't anything there. "What's happened this time?" She climbed into the train car and settled down, noticing that nobody had found water yet

Not to mention this character seems to like changing his mind alot. If anything, I would be watching the ponies who aren't with us right now. He likes to target the stragglers" she said, trying to think logically

Josh put his notebook away and smiles for the first time that day "ill help I wouldn't mind a horribly odds against us fight against zycrin of we get the chance I would love to ask him about some of his herbal recipes

Ghost shows Grand the letter. "In all of the time I've known him, whenever he kills a pony, he leaves a note with his signature on it. But that's some good thinking. Maybe Zycrin isn't who I should focus on right now...

I'm going to go contribute in finding supplies." Ghost tightens his mask and disappears in a dust cloud.

Grand hoped she was right. She had been trying to follow his patterns, and it seems he likes to target whoever he can torment. "I'm going back to get the rest of the peanuts" she said, heading back out to where the saloon was. She hoped to find some water as well, the more the better. It would be too easy to be dehydrated in this heat

"Listen carfully Hyperion, I now you have feelings for lady, and letting me know that was a big mistake. Here is were we stand, I could slit he throte at any time, all I have to do is move. I now present you with a choice, who lives and who dies. Hyperion it is up to youdont try and stop me or I will kill lady". Zycrin presented his choice to zeta who now had to choose between his friends lif and his own. Zycrin waited for his response. (If any one tries to stop Zycrin I will kill lady).

"This should be able to last us for at least three days, considering how many ponies are in the group." He thought. Zeta stood there, facing at Zycrin to think of something. Though being in a small state of shock, it was one of the hardest things to do .

Before he got too far from the train, Ghost felt the disturbance again. He jumped to the top of the train and looked through the ceiling window. Inside, he saw Zycrin, with Lady being held hostage. "I need to take out Zycrin silently. If I attack him head-on, Lady will die."

Ghost silently entered through a grate and planned his attack on Zycrin, staying hidden in his dust cloud form.

"buck" Josh grabbed his katanas but didn't move toward zycrin "you look well ill take that as a sign that your antidote wasn't a fake any chance you could leave us all alone" Josh said while staring at zeta hoping that he wouldn't do anything dumb enough to end paints or his own life

Grand grabbed Tempest before he could do anything. "He will kill her if you even so much as THINK about stopping him" she said, feeling awful about what she had said earlier. "Perhaps we can reason with you. Is there anything else we can offer that doesn't involve losing a life?" She said calmly, trying to keep the situation under control

Zycrin made sure ghost knew he was not joking, he pushed his sword a little harder in ladies neck, drawing a little blood.
