general What shoes do you wear?

Plain black skate shoes, because they're really wide. I have flat feet, size 18 men's, so it's hard to find shoes that aren't boring, but these are at least comfy.

Boots. I only wear tennis shoes or sneakers if I am exercising. Otherwise I wear boots. I have to for work, but I am very hard on my footwear for some reason. I don't try to be. I usually wear 5-11 or Bates.

I wear various different types.

I have A LOT of Mary Janes of varying heel heights and colours. I also have numerous pairs of high heeled peep toes and sandals of different designs. Some have block heels, others have stiletto heels. Others have an ankle strap fastening while others have a sling back. Others have T bar straps or a cross strap. Some of them also have a platform to them. Additionally, I do also wear high heeled boots.

I've worn boots ever since I left home and could more freely choose my attire, usually hiking boots are my casual footwear but I also have black leather boots with steel toe caps for various mayhem that I wear occasionally. ;] They're great for any kind of situation so I feel at a disadvantage now whenever I don't wear them, the grip has left me endlessly grateful countless of times.

I echo the hiking boots, I don't wear regular shoes anymore - they just don't provide enough support for anything except the most pristine of sidewalks. I randomly just decide to go walk in a nearby woodland sometimes if I feel like it so boots are just the natural choice.

I prefer wearing minimalist/zero drop hiking sandals (Luna Oso Flaco Winged Edition). I do have boots for work and winter, and some “barefoot” shoes, but I only wear socks and shoes (or boots) when absolutely required.
