Crimson raised an eyebrow, "but...you need magic to use that book and last time I checked, you are a pegasis, not a unicorn...well, I suppose you could use ivy, but is her magic strong enough to use this kind of spell? If not, it could end up hurting her, or worse...are you sure you want to go through with this?" Asked crimson.

Tempest thought about that for a moment, and glanced at Ivy.

 

The silver unicorn nodded. "I should be able to cast the spell." She said.

 

The cyan pegesus smiled and nodded. "I trust Ivy enough and I know what she's capable of." He said. "The plan should work." Tempest knew that Ivy was strong enough.

lightning just walk forward "whatever i'm just gonna keep on keepin on." he said, then he heard crimson talking about some book, he just shrugged and forgot about it none of my business he thought, then he started singing, "You shout it loud, but I can't hear a word you say I'm talking loud, not saying much I'm criticized, but all your bullets ricochet you shoot me down, but I get up I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose fire away, fire away ricochet, you take your aim fire away, fire away you shoot me down, but I won't fall I am titanium you shoot me down, but I won't fall I am titanium", he sang softly.

Frost turned around and kept walking "Phew, I thought for sure that was gonna turn into a bloodbath." he mumbled to himself quietly. He quickly trotted past tempest and the others to meet up with lighting "Hey, what are they talking about so secretly?" he asked

Tempest glanced at Frost and then back at Crimson. "I'm trusting you not to tell the others." He said. The cyan pegesus  then smiled.

 

Ivy shrugged and jumped onto Tempest's back, before the cyan pegesus flew into the air, searching ahead for changelings. "I hope this works." She thought. "I agree that we can't tell the others, though. They wouldn't understand."

lightning stopped singing and looked at frost "they were talking about a dead civilization and a book, why?" he said curiously, then he looked back to see tempest and ivy fly away, and where are they going. he thought, he forgot about it and went back to singing.

Frost kept eye contact with Lighting for a moment "Oh...ok thanks." he said not trying to sound suspicious and trotted ahead of the group. Frost shook his head "The dead civilization must be referring to Tempests ancestors, but there's only one book on file and it's in canterlot....so why would he need it? Frost wondered "Forget it we have other things to deal with right now." he told himself.

Tempest smiled as he flew through the air. "Soon, my plan will take effect, and I will be the savior of an entire race." He thought. The cyan pegesus then noticed that this was the area he had fallen unconcious. "They must be around here somewhere. I can already sense multiple auras."

Frost was now quite confused. "OH COME ON! Theres like a million caves here, it could takes days if not weeks to find the right one." Although Frost knew this was nowhere close to true. He justed needed to keep the group occupied until night fall. "I have to get a look at that book, and soon." he thought

Rut-Light looked at all the cave openings and said, "Maybe there's multiple entrances?  Think about it, there are thousands of these guys; so why they only need one entrance?"  He looked at Tempest and asked, "Can you explain that?  Can these be multiple entrances?"

Tempest glanced at Rut and shrugged. "I honestly have no idea."  He said. "I was unconscious, so I couldn't see where the actuall entrance was, or if there was more than one." The cyan pegesus then sighed.

 

Ivy got off of Tempest and glanced at Frost. He wasn't acting like himself, and caused Ivy to become suspicious. "Maybe he already knows of Tempest's plan." She thought. "I really hope that isn't the case."

Frost realized he had lost himself in his thoughts, he jerked his head to see Ivy and Tempest staring at him "Crap!" he scolded himself under his breath. "I can't do that again." he thought. "SO! How about we take a rest, after all we have been walking for quite a while" he said awkwardly

lightning walked over to tempest and ivy "hey guys what's up with that book i heard you and crimson talking about?" he said curiously, then he started thinking why did frost want to know what tempest, ivy and crimson said?, he forgot about that and waited for tempest and ivy to answer.

Tempest glanced at Lightning and shrugged. "Oh, it's nothing to concern yourself with." He said. The cyan pegesus then glanced at Frost. "I agree. We should probably set up camp here."

 

Ivy glanced at Tempest. " You're probably right. It might take some time to lure the changelings out of the caves."

Frost perked up instantly. "yeah, that's a great idea I'll get the tents." he said speaking rather quickly as he ran off to grab the tents and some fire wood. When he was alone he scolded himself again "Sweet Celestia, I don't want to get questioned." he said to himself and continued walking to get some firewood and regather his thoughts.

Tempest rolled his eyes as Frost left. He then glanced at Ivy and nodded.

 

The silver unicorn smirked and her horn glowed, creating tents out of vines. "If you need me, I'll be inside." She said, before entering a tent and falling asleep.

 

The cyan pegesus smirked and entered the tent. He put his saddlebags on a wall, before closing the tent and meditating.

lightning started walking "i'm gonna go for a walk to clear my head, i'll be back soon." he said as he walked in to the forest, what is tempest hiding and why does he keep glaring at frost? he thought as he came to a clearing with a lake "i might as well go for a swim." he said as he jumped in the lake and went swimming

Frost returned with some firewood and began to make a small fire. He looked over at Tempests tent and saw that he was still meditating, he knew that he had to wait until he was fully asleep if he wanted to snatch the book. "Dang does that pony ever sleep he mumbled.

Tempest stopped meditating and glanced at his saddlebag. "I had better find a way to protect that book. I wouldn't want Frost or the others to find out." He thought. The cyan pegesus then used his aura to form a barrier that enveloped his saddlebag, before falling asleep.

Frost peeped inside Tempest's tent to look for the saddle bag, he spotted it sitting next to its owner he quietly stepped over Tempest and reached for the bag. Not knowing about the barrier he did not hesitate to grab. The barrier gave him a good shock and knocked him on his hind quarters. "Sweet Celestia above." he hissed through gritted teeth while clutching his hoof.

Ivy woke up from the noise and noticed Frost near her and was scared. "What in the name of Luna are you doing in here?" She yelled. The silver unicorn then stood up and made her horn glow as she got ready to attack Frost.

 

Tempest shifted in his sleep, and was slowly waking up.

Frost looked up at Ivy, he was still in a lot of pain. "Look I was worried something was going on that I didn't know about, it was strange and out of your nature." He began to slowly get up now more angry than frightened. "Anc on that not I'm implying that Tempest is in possession of the only book on the first civilization...so tell me...why does...he need it?" he spat

Sole was still awake as he heard noises coming from tempest and ivy's tent. Normally that would make him wanna stay away from it. but this time it sounded like a fight, and not between tempest and ivy. "What the heck is going on..." he said quietly, before flying down toward the tent silently.

Ivy glared at Frost, but eventually calmed down. "I'm sorry for worrying you so much. You kinda scared me when I woke up to see you barely a foot away from me." She said. The silver unicorn then smiled and glanced at Tempest. She then turned her attention back to Frost. "As for the book, Tempest probably wants to learn about his ancestors and the civilization they built."

Frost have Ivy a sarcastic glare. "That's a cute bed time story Ivy, but I've read the book on more than one occasion and there is nothing in there that Tempest wouldn't know." he said in a frustrated tone. "So why don't you tell me what he really wants and this little awkward get together can be over with."
