He's an alien from Krypton

And his super powers basically make him God and only has one weakness. And I wouldn't exactly call kryptonite easy to find(though I'm a little fuzzy on info of the Superman Universe)

 

Exactly this. The guy can sneeze a galaxy into oblivion and that's not considered OP? Nvm that the only way for our group of DC heroes to beat a Superman gone evil was to get another Superman from an alternate universe to beat him. It's stupid.

Anime and manga has loooaaads of overpowered characters. Dragon Ball was mentioned, that's a good example. And Moka (the vampire Moka) in Rosario+Vampire.

In manga the OP character isn't hard to spot. It's the one who rescues everyone in the end.

And here's a char I don't think many here would've thought of...

Sailor Moon. She's darn OP. I could have a rant here how you shouldn't judge the series based on the anime, since it's pretty much the thing that comes out of your backside, and how the manga actually works and is awesome. OFC, it's about preferences, but there's a huge difference. But yeah, too off-topic...

In Sailor Moon, she has the Legendary Silver Crystal. It's the most powerful crystal EVER. Nothing rivals it (and most of the storyline is that different enemies try to get their hands on it in a way or another). But since the LSC is so powerful, she wins every single battle because of it.

Ofc Deadpool is OP - but that's one of the main reasons why there is a character like Deadpool. It's the whole gag, what I've understood, the thing it's based on. He's so OP that he becomes a ridiculous superhero and pretty much becomes an antihero so to say.

But yeah, I think I'll search myself some anime/manga thread where I can rant about Sailor Moon...
