Swift Quill sees Lyona gritting her teeth, "Aodh! Stop digging your claws in!" He scolds the Phoenix, "Sorry about that. But that just goes to show that he really likes you." Swift Quill smiles, "I was wondering if you knew any ponies here that may be able to help to find my parents? Oh and a place to stay would be nice."

Astro smiled shaking the mare's hoof. "I do actually, come on I'll show you. I just moved here, but I know where all of the important places are." He said. He had actually considered adopting a dog or bird, but he had decided against it when his mom went off on a torrent about germs and something about seclusion.

He turned to the mare as they walked. "So you're writing a book? What about?" He had always admired writers as he couldn't write something to save his life.

Minty looked at the large selection of animals she could've picked from. "They're all cute.. Surprise me..!" Minty exclaimed, adoring all the cute little critters. She's never really had a pet before, so she decided to get one. Nestle seemed pretty simple to take care of..

(OOC: Sorry everypony! I've been busy being with the family up in Montana, I'm finally back home and am able to reply again. Prepare for a wall of text!)

 

DJ-BR0N-3/Richard woke up and looked at the clock. "DEAR CELESTIA! IS IT THAT LATE ALREADY?!?!?!" He shouted. He rolled out of bed, falling to the floor with a thud and went to shower. After the shower he gelled his mane just the way he liked it and rolled out the door, literally, he fell down the stairs and rolled out the door across the street to a cafe, which just so happened to be the place he needed to go. "Oh I hope she's here," said Richard anxiously. He hadn't seen the mare he asked out the other day, did she not come? Had she already come and left? Either way, she wasn't here now. Richard ordered a smoothie with protein powder, blueberries, bananas, and strawberries. He slurped it until he was full and laid his head on the table, feeling rather upset.

As Charcoal was walking through the cafes looking for a place to have her lunch break she decides on one that isn't terribly crowded, save for a single Pegasus with his head down on the table. Sitting down she places her order and just waits for it to come. Out of the corner of her eye she still sees that Pegasus with his head down. Is he alright? Maybe I should check on him. She thought. Walking over to his table she taps him on the shoulder. "Um sir, are you alright?"

" It's fine. I live with a cat, I've had worse." Lyona rolls back her shoulders, wincing. 

 

 

 

"I was wondering if you knew any ponies here that may be able to help to find my parents? Oh and a place to stay would be nice."

 

" The only thing I can think of is the police station. If you know what your parents' cutie marks mean, then you can check out anything that's connected to that. A place to stay?" Lyona tapped a hoof against her chin thoughtfully. " There's a bed and breakfast not too far from where I live, decently priced. Or you can stay over at my house, I have a bunk bed."

Walking over to her table Charcoal grabs her food and brings it over to sit with Richard. "I sure hope that was a joke there. Because I don't find drugs to be funny at all. I've never really liked drugs, from there effect on the body to how ponies act with them in their system."

Charcoal shrugs. "I don't know, I don't make the rules I just follow them. And alcohol and drugs are both something I've never tried so I wouldn't know much about their effects on ponies. All I know is that my whole life I've been told to avoid them both, so that is what I do."

What I hate most about this transfer is that I'm with a whole new group of ponies and the vast majority of them are stallions. And let me tell you, it is not easy being pretty much the only mare on a construction sight full of stallions."

Dog Ears cocked his head and looked around. "Hmm.... Ah I think I have someone for you! Have you ever had a pet before? Cuz this guy is perfect fo a first pet. Great with other dogs, cats, other animals, fillies... Hmmm maybe I'll keep him and give you Nestle." Dog Ears laughed at the joke since he knew there was no way he would ever give up Nestle. He went into a room and came out with a full grown Akita ((Kinda looks like this guy)). "Minty, meet Dare Devil. Dare Devil, meet Minty." The dog slowly walked up to Minty and started sniffing her. "He's pretty big but he's the silliest oaf once you get to know him. He is a blind in his left eye so make sure that something you want him to see is in view of his right eye. Minty's nice huh Dare?" Dare Devil barked and licked Minty's face.

"No no, you're fine. Let's see, I was moved here for a while to help with the construction on a building. Yes as a filly I used to live in cloudsdale but almost never go there now. I build a lot of things and occasionally help with building construction. Sure we can hang out later and I read for fun, or climb."
