Yep, he's a gamer! He wants to be a video game programmer, and I decided to draw a controller with two gears that don't have such a literal meaning. The gears represent how to be a programmer, you have to make sure everything moves properly and all the cogs and gears fit when programming a game. They also represent more mechanical and technical aspects of programming. I rather think it fits him.
