Not only do the rules of the section specifically prohibit copying and pasting replies, but you were already told by Flipturn to cease in making those responses. Although I understand your enthusiasm and desire to welcome new members, you really cannot make over 250 posts which are copies of each other. It inflates your post count, forces us to clean up the repetitive content, and makes your greetings appear disingenuous.

Honestly, if I gave a damn about my post count, I would never spend 90% of my forum time here, where my post count doesn't increase. Disingenuous? Well, I think these ponies who sent me messages wanting to stay in touch with me after welcoming them wouldn't agree with this.

NOT TO MENTION that I said that I really care about welcoming other ponies even after the first warning. I really explained the whole situation in detail. I explained the situation in even more detail after my posts got removed. They said if I don't have time to think of new welcoming posts, I shouldn't even welcome new members. Since when is being friendly being punished on a BRONY forum?

Did you keep copying and pasting the same response /after/ the warning, or did you post something different on that forum that wasn't "disingenuous"?

 

No punishment should be permanent on a forum (unless it is intentional /bad/ behavior that hurts others). I would petition to either make the ban last for a certain period of time (1 week to a month maybe), or simply ask for a second chance. I'm not sure how you could go about it. It might help if someone else started the petition for you (maybe a friend you greeted, or someone who can say something well about you).

But there's a big BUT.

I'm banned from Welcoming Plaza, therefore I can't see who posted there.

Therefore I can't welcome new ponies even through a PM.

And if I was in for the post count, do you really think I would spend most of my forum time HERE, where there is no post count increase?
