Paradox, it contradicts itself.

 

The most famous example would probably be either the "Bootstrap Paradox" or the "Grandfather Paradox"

 

The grandfather paradox is basically this:

If you go back in time and kill your grandfather before he met your grandma, your mom or dad would never have been born, and such, you couldn't have gone back in time to kill your grandfather. And since you couldn't have killed him, you're still alive, so you're able to go back and kill him, which means you were never born, which means that you weren't able to go back and kill him, which means you were born, so you were able to, which means that you weren't born, and were able to....
