A sort of friendly rivalry, with Trixie working toward becoming more powerful, in a more reasonable way. One that doesn't involve dark magic and slavery. It would have helped to put up an episode or 2 in season 2 with Trixie, and then, maybe they could have ended the rivalry in season 3. Although a lot of fanwork still portrays Trixie as the boastful magic mare. Heheh, "slavery" :comeatus:.
