I don't think the castle is in the same place as the library. When Tirek destroyed it you could still see some ruins. They aren't there when the castle sprouts up. It looked like it came up more around the outskirts of ponyville.

Finale was a masterpiece.

If Hasbro decides to keep Mane 6 for season 5, then they're buckin' dumb. It's a lose-lose situation.

He's the Sea Serpent front the second episode who helps them get across the river.  Rarity gives him her tail for his moustache.

 

And that is his cannon name, though he hasn't been seen since.

 

First off, Hasbro has made bad decisions in the past, like killing of Optimus Prime in the first series.

 

Second, I know that the writers can still surprise me, so I wouldn't say keeping focus on the Mane 6 will be a bad decision until I see it.

I wouldn't say it's a bad decision either. It depends. I'd like to see more about other ponies though.

 

 I adore the mane six but there's so much more to this world than just them.

Well I think that's what the spinoffs are for.

 

Plus there are two more EQG movies, and they are after Season 4, so I think the focus will remain on them.  But who knows, they can always add new obstacles they have to overcome.  And the real series finale might be even better.

Still don't care about Equestria Girls. I've seen the original, it didn't interest me. I'll watch Rainbow Rocks, but I'm not too excited.

 

 Having the mane six travel around more often would definitely be a good way to get more variety. Maybe that's what they'll actually do for the next season.

I hate the highschool setting in general, so I will just torrent rainbow rocks to see if it was any better than the first.

And Twilight being a princess, and accepting her role as one is really end game for the FiM mane 6 cast. And the flaws in the other characters have been worked down to quirks, rather than glaring flaws. It just feels like they pulled an endgame this season, and I really wonder were it goes next.

I think it was aimed towards middle school girls, who still see high school for the pretty boy band, clique-filled, social magic land that it isn't.

High school is no better than middle school. It's probably worse.

 

 I got more "Social magic" from the internet. That's pretty bad, if even the internet was more friendly than high school.

Yeah, high schools are never how they are on tv.  At least mine aren't.

 

I've never even been to a school that had lockers in the hallway.

 

And socializing varies from person to person.  We are all most likely introverts here. 

 

I know a lot of people in my high school that just socialized with everyone.
