Well I'm sure that that's what they were going for, things that their audience would relate.  Cliques by the way are pretty real, at least in my school.  You could actually see the groups form at lunch time.

 

-Crushing

-Boy bands

-Rivals

-Dances

 

Those are all things most can relate to.

Yeah it's just the majority of girls in high school, boys included. Boys can be just as stupid as the girls, if not more. They tend to fuel each other's stupidity.

 

I remember once I was in the library and I overheard these "popular" guys talking about the "popular" girls. And the topic to discuss was their boob sizes, just their boobs.

I guess that's just your own preference Base, like some people are attracted to legs or hair or eyes or any other part.  Everyone has their own likes.

 

It's similar to how girls are attracted to abs I'm guessing.
