Well, I've been on this ride sense s1 on /co/, before the bronydom was even a thing. And none of the other finales felt this complete

I mean, to make a video game reference, it felt like the end to halo reach. You knew there was nothing more to be told, and the ending was a complete package.

And yeah, I think Halo 3 was a perfect end for Master Chief, and I haven't played Halo 4 yet.

 

Also yes, you knew how that was going to end.  I like what they did at the end, where you have to survive as long as possible with the ending always the same.

I agree with you, though this is how I feel about Star Wars 7.

 

I think it ended well, but who knows, it might be good.  I've heard that the original scripts for the rest of the episodes were even better.

I felt like it ended the chiefs story perfectly. And the very last thing he did was climb into that cryo tube, the exact opposite of how halo 1 started.

And yes, that ending was perfect for him, because where was he going to go.  He had nothing to do but wait until the next war.

 

Though looking at Sly Cooper, I think they can make Season 5 work.

I don't get why everyone says that the war was over, no it wasn't. The humans and the Covenant temporarily teamed up, once the flood were dealt with that treaty was over. Halo 4 is proof of this.

 

And the only reason why he went into the cryo tube was because they were lost in space so they had to wait until someone or something found them.
