Riley shuffled his hooves, looking around aimlessly. Finally, he looked up at Anala. "Okay, can I just... say something crazy?" he asked.

 

"I love crazy!" replied Anala.

 

Riley hopped down from the couch, and instead of normal speaking, he sang. "All my life has been a series of doors in my face," he sang, trotting over to close the left-ajar door to illustrate his point. "And then suddenly, I bump into yooooou..."

 

"I was thinking the same thing!" responded Anala. "'Cause like..." She hopped down from the sofa, and then joined the singing. "I've been searching my whole life to find my own place..." She went over to Riley. "And maybe it's the party talking, or the chocolate fondue..."

 

Riley chuckled. "But with you..."

 

"But with you..." repeated Anala, and she added her own part. "I found my place..."

 

"I see your face!" added Riley. Then the two star-crossed lovers both sang in unison, "And it's nothing like I've ever known before!"

 

They then swung the door open, and galloped down the halls beside each other.

 

"Love is an open doo-ooo-oor!"

 

"Love is an open... doo-oo-oo-ooor!"

 

"Love is an open door!"

 

Then they split again.

 

"With you!" sang Riley.

 

"With you!" repeated Anala.

 

They then repeated the preceding two lines.

 

In unison again... "Love is an open door..."

 

They arrived outside, where Riley flew Anala up to the balcony of a clock tower.

 

"I mean, it's crazy..." began Anala.

 

"What?" enquired Riley.

 

"We finish each other's..."

 

"Sandwiches!" Riley finished for her.

 

"That's what I was gonna say!" commented Anala in enthusiastic bewilderment.

 

"I've never met someone..." began Riley, before they finished the sentence in unison with, "Who thinks so much like me!"

 

Like the classic game fillies and colts commonly played, they said together, "Jinx!" In response to that, they added, "Jinx again!"

 

They then stiffened their arms and legs, moving them about in a robot-dance, and then sang, heavily enunciating each syllable, "Our mental syn-chro-nization, can have but one ex-pla-nation!"

 

"You..." said Anala.

 

"And I..." finished Riley.

 

"Were just meant to beeeeeeeee!" they sang together.

 

"Say goodbye..." sang Riley, before Anala repeated it in direct succession.

 

"To the pain of the past!" they sang together. "We don't have to feel it anymore!"

 

"Love is an open doo-ooo-oor!"

 

"Love is an open... doo-oo-oo-ooor!"

 

"Life can be so much more!"

 

"With you!" sang Riley.

 

"With you!" repeated Anala.

 

They then sang those two lines again. They finished their duet off, gazing into each other's eyes.

 

"Love is an open door..."
