Eh, it kind of ruins the fact that MLP was trying NOT to show stereotypes and that life's always better if you're a princess and stuff like that.

 

 

Though I do like the characters in the show, and I like fandom creations, I'm just not really PART of it.

I don't really get that vibe from it. Twilight's life doesn't really seem all that much better for being a princess. I'd say her life is better because of her relationships with her friends. She's the princess of friendship, even. If anything being a princess just seems to add some extra stress into her life.

 

 Plus, I saw this coming from like season two. I'm surprised other people didn't. It seemed rather obvious to me.
