My memory is usually really freaking good. Though in the instance where it's not good, it's completely terrible.

 

 And I can't do math. I just can't. Even getting tutors and spending hours with it I still sucked terribly. Even now I still sometimes struggle with some really basic stuff.

Well, for me it's easy, you have rules, and all you have to do is follow the rules, there's not much creative thinking involved

 

 

 

And my parents have said that it was an option to drop out if I got a job...

 

I don't think they actually think I'd take it though...

I know you just follow the rules. But it's like...what I said about memory. When it's not good, it's just terrible. I can never remember the rules for math. Don't know why, but they just don't ever stick.

Yeah... Some people are good with things like that, and some people aren't....

 

 

For instance, my brotjer, amazing guitarist. He doesn't even know the circle of fifths.

Me, I'm not that good with a guitar, I can figure out chords, and I can play them, I just can't change chords or know what fret on what string is what note quickly.

 

But if you give both of us the exact same stringed instrument, and tell us the notes for the strings, I can sit the and if there's a band playing in a key that I can find quickly, I can jam along with them.

And yet he, the stringed instrument gifted person can't.

 

To me, the more rules the easier...

Hey Smash! I do too.

 

 This counselor had a giant poster going all "Violent video games cause violence! Help ban them!" and I love violence in games, so I'm just sitting there, and I've literally never had any kind of counsel visit become that uncomfortable that quickly. I didn't tell her anything.
