Well then, he isn't a good friend. You should tell him "don't knock it until he tries it."

 

Regardless, some people do. I don't have a problem with it, as I think people can do whatever they feel like, but at least respect someone if they choose to do something else.

 

If anything, it isn't the worst idea for an average person to wear them.
