In all honesty, life is cruel. He's right. I know better than anyone else that it. There's so much uncertainty and factors working against it being easy, that life downright cruel.

Believe me, I know from personal experience how cruel life can be. I've been through depression, anxiety, bullying, social isolation, physical illness, therapy, medication, bereavement, all of that stuff.

 

Things seem to have worked out well in the end for you though.
