Because there's no figurative translation of "cooler" in Filipino, so it's literally "cooler" as in cold.

 

Anyway, there's Taglish, or the essential mix of Filipino and English words in a sentence, so they could make it "mas cooler" or something like that. Though it's still going to be a cringe-worthy ride hearing the cheesiness of the translation.

Just give them translated subtitles and it will suffice. No need to hire potentially inaccurate voice actors and actresses that may mistake mares for stallions and vise versa and even humans for ponies or something.

 

And for daPilipins, we have at least basic knowledge and understanding of English for pretty all of us anyway, so why bother poorly translating it, and other English-native shows to Filipino when we pretty much all know what they mean in English?
