The recommended specs are pretty conservative but the recommended GPU is still better than the one I have. I'm probably looking at 900p with medium textures and draw distances for 60 fps

 

I might have to get a new graphics card and giant cpu fan

Well I'd say you probably have a standard notebook rather than a gaming notebook Odds are it can't run AAA titles. I mean, the PS3 version isn't that bad. But this is 2015. I don't want to be gaming on hardware that was around in 2006
