The simplest formula for me to remember for temperature conversions. :o

 

F = 1.8C + 32

C = (F - 32)/1.8

 

I just came up with it on the fly. Much easier to remember than the ones with nine fifths and five ninths.

Did you know there is a Kelvin like scale with Fahrenheit increments? It's called Rankine. Zero Rankine is absolute zero so R = F + 459.67

 

So the temperature right now is 536.67°R.
