As a kid, I hated school, and socializing, and most of my life. Not at first, but it started and then got worse and worse from the second grade onwards. I just really didn't enjoy much other than my games and cartoons. I'd always hear how "It get's worse", "These are the best days of your life", "Actual jobs are so much more stressful". Blah, blah, blah.

 

 Or they'd tell me it got better, but I never saw that. With most adults, including my parents it was just the same stuff. Go to work, come home, drink, sleep, eat, repeat. Get stressed out, be unhappy. If they were happy, it was always either fleeting, or seemed fake. My Grandparents did actually seem happy for a few years, but then that was ruined too.

 

 I just feel like...I've never seen someone actually "Living" because they wanted to, not for long anyway. Everyone always seemed to be living because they had a reason they "Needed" to, not that they "wanted" to. Happiness was a thing in fiction, not real.

 

I get what you mean. Throughout all of school you're prepared for the adult world, a world you don't want to enter because on the outside it really does not look good.  It's a life full of routine, as depressing as it sounds, but they have to do it to live and support themselves. But I suppose it's all based on what sort of career you can forge for yourself, a good job or career means it won't feel like a routine. It's a period of life everyone enters at a different location and time, and I suppose you make what you can of it. 

 

I'm no expert, I'm younger and have never worked, but that's how I see it anyway. Woona would probably be able to give you a better insight. 

 

I just want to play video games and travel the world all my life, but unless I win the lottery that ain't happening lol

 

I hope you see this when you come back, I know it won't help much but I guess I'll give you my input.
