    • Keep counting to infinity (count to the next million(s))
      103
    • Count back down to 1 (then back up)

325,yeah whatever

My brother is over here playing The Witcher 3 on his PS4 and OH MY GOD does it drop frames like a mother! It already caps at 30 FPS, but I would vouch to say that when there are a lot of enemies plus physics types of things like water splashing, it dips down somewhere between 15 and 20 FPS. :o

To me, it's the visual equivalent of someone screeching their nails on the chalkboard.

And people say the new generation of consoles are good? I mean, for the price, yeah. But that's like saying a 2004 Honda Civic is fast for the price. That doesn't make it a fast car.

Ouch, I get eye cancer already when my frames drop below 50fps...

I rather sacrifice a quality and play at 60fps :muffins:

This does not count for Arma, that still looks fluently at 13fps, don't ask me how they do that...

This. Oh my god this.

I'll take a resolution hit and use almost zero quality textures to get 60 FPS if I need to do that.

Of course with an R9 290, I shouldn't need to do that for a little while :)

Nothing beats how fluid a game plays at 60 FPS. If you want a prime example of this, play Dying Light on the PS4. It runs at 1080p 60 FPS.

Yes, Woona, a game that runs 120fps on a 120Hz Monitor.

Say goodbye to blur and screen tearing :comeatus:

60 FPS looks good to me. I'd like to do 120, but I'll save that for later. I'd be torn between doing 1080p120 or 4K60 down the road lol Even though 1080p looks great from a distance, the average PC user isn't 3 meters from his monitor lol I can still see individual pixels on my monitor. So I'd like to go 4K one day :)

Choose more FPS and less Res, 4k is just stupid if you don't have a like 100 inch screen...
