But I've got rules with this now. 

 

Every month, I move $100 to my Google card from my regular bank account. 

 

The Google card gets used for running around and having fun. For example, my coworkers are going to go eat pizza for lunch, there is a movie I want to go see, or it's Friday and I usually do fast food on Friday. Those are the things my Google card will be used for. 

 

My regular debit card and checks (yes I still write checks) are to be used for my more adulty things. Paying rent, paying bills, car payment, gas, and food. Those types of things. 

 

My credit card is that black hole in my wallet that has an outstanding balance on it that I'm slowly chipping away. However, it can only be used for two types of things: backup in case my other cards simply fail to work and I'm not carrying cash or I'm buying something big that I don't readily have the cash for. For example, I want to buy two good tickets to see Foo Fighters and the cost is above my debit card's daily allowance. Or I want to buy new computer parts. 

 

I'm also ordering new inserts for my day planner. I'm going to try to get my life a little more organized and I think it's going to have to start with two things: daily plans and finances. So here goes attempt #304 at getting organized XD
