No, just being positive doesn't invoke change. People who say "Things will get better if you just think positive" are full of lies. They may just be trying to help, but it's a lie. No. You have to take action. Grab the bull by the horns. You change your situation by doing something different.

And if your situation is that you really just don't like existence in the first place? When your own life feels like you're caught in a trap? When you've never actually wanted much of anything the world has to offer for as far as you can remember?

 

 I can "Fix" my situation with lies, but it's never going to make me happy.
