At least there's one down, with Ryzen forcing Intel to git gud and make Cawfee Lake a bit better in terms of core counts. Not sure if they're gonna solder the IHS and give a half-decent cooler, tho. We'll see.

Vega, uh, not so much tbh. I guess the problem is the whole price drama, and if those stuff were true, that's quite shady for AMD. :V

Too bad the miners got all the RX cards, and we're stuck with Nvidia and the lower-class RX cards. :c

Yeah. Even cards like mine are still sky high because of miners. I will say my 290 is still kicking it amazing frame rates even today. I need to put a liquid cooler on it tho. Sounds like a jet engine in Witcher 3 and GTA V. Although lately I've been playing Half Life. It wants to play with 90-95C. I know they designed I it with those temps in mind but mein Gott it's super hot. You could roast marshmallows with the air my PC exhausts. 

Idk how good local stuff in Manila is but maybe you could check classified ads there? I've seen some older cards like 980s on Craigslist for pretty cheap.

I would just get an AIO cooler mated to a Kraken G12. My CPU stays cool and quiet most of the time since I'm running stock clocks again. I've had it as high at 4.6 before but I toned it down since there really is no need for that. Oh and if I OC, it likes to stay at 4.6 rather than coming down during light loads. 

4690K's are getting on in age though it still plays really well. I'll probs keep it til it fries

I know I am waiting to upgrade my PC until the first PCI-E 4.0 MBs are out.

Then I'll upgrade from my i7 3770k to Ryzen, upgrade my DDR3 to DDR4 RAM and get whatever AMD GPU is best and PCI-E 4 compatible at that time :squee:

We actually have a classifieds website dedicated to PC hardware. o:

I've seen a couple 980s and 290s go for pretty damn cheap over there. And then there are a couple 290s that sell as much as a frickin' 1050, but those are the jet engined reference cards. :V
