My dad had a car where the headlights opened up like that, I think it was a Mazda :D

Mazda MX-5/Miata? They're supposed to be really fun cars despite being really slow. I've seen threads on forums where people swap the 4 cylinder engines for the V6 you see in the Honda Odyssey and Pilot. The original 1.6 liter only makes about 120-ish horsepower and torque is in the neighborhood of 100 lbft. But the Honda J motors are making figures around 250 for power and torque. You can just buy a wrecked Odyssey, swap the motors, sell the van for scrap, and have you a fast little car.

Pop up headlights are the thing I miss most about old cars.

Theres something elegant about them. :squee:

I remember even in the late 90s, every car had something different to offer. These days they're all bubbly and look the same. :P

But yeah lately I've become somewhat obsessed with getting a Miata. Especially an NA or NB. The NC is kinda ugly. I like the new ones a lot too but I can't afford that.

I refuse to let go until you're impressed.

Nah, Woona, it wasn't so round, I remember it to be more edgy :derp:

Maybe the Astina, but I really can't say, it's been ages since when he had that thing, and I never took much of an interest in cars, but I loved that thing, because of the pop-up headlights. :muffins:
