I know that feeling Raritas. I had a paper for world history due for the next day, which is even more challenging IMO, and as I took a break, I saw a lot of unorganized junk in my Documents folder, so I deleted much of that junk. Little did I know that my paper was among the ones I selected in the Documents folder, and actually went with the other junk that I deleted, so I gave up my freetime hours of the late-afternoon and night hours and went full-speed redoing the paper.

 

Mental note: ALWAYS organize your files, especially important ones, in folders...

 

Ouch... That must have sucked :/ Did you empty it from your recycle bin too? My work got lost because I only kept it on a memory stick.... Which broke and corrupted everything.. Yay for technology   xD  Remember to back stuff up too!

I very much always delete stuff permanently (Shift+Del), so it's very much "lost" there. I could still recover it using data recovery tools, but I was just too stressed out losing the work, so I didn't think of using that...
