They say modern cars are safer, even at those speeds. But the fact of the matter is that if your car hits someone else's car head-on that fast, your internal organs are going to be so extremely displaced so quickly, you won't survive even if the car wasn't damaged at all. The human body can't stand to that kind of blunt force.

Mario Kart counts. 

 

There was actually a study that showed that playing video games makes you a better driver.

 

The reasoning is that it improves your ability to make quick decisions on the fly, and it improves your hand-eye coordination.
