How is football like in your country?

I'm actually not in football mode just yet, my mind is still on racing until the end of November.

Historically our first mainstream taste of it was with it being shown on terrestrial TV in the early 80s.

There would have been a following prior to that on radio.

We had the European League London Monarchs, Scottish Claymores etc (went to see on of their games)

I bought a ball towards the end of high school for a chuck around at break times (had also played rugby)

Went to uni, discovered it's quite a big thing at that level (not like your 100k capacity stadia - think cold wet field) decided to give it a go for 3 years.

With the introduction of some games being played in the UK that's allowed me to go and see some football.

There are uni and seniors teams and I'd imagine that there's flagball or similar aswell

 

 

Which sort of racing? Indy? NASCAR? Other?

Ah, that's cool, there were discussions about bringing football games over here but the time difference not to mention the weather are a big of a problem.

Pretty much NASCAR as my driver is still in the playoffs even though he got caught up in a crash.

That I follow too, but due to Red Bull's dominance, it has turned me off a bit.

Yeah, in this time of year. I follow those 2 in the middle part of the year when it's on otherwise it's off my mind.
