I've never heard anything about Java when running this site.

When I was younger, I'd always here computer guys talk about Java, and I used to think they meant Jaffa.

And it was really quite confusing!

This site is HTML, not Java. It was an attempted Trojan attack originating from an ad.

The only ads I seem to get on here is: become a counsellor, psychology tests, depression, christmas toys and that Sylestia game

I'm using Firefox for now. This Trojan attempt is pretty nasty. Once it starts nagging you, it disables the close button and the other tabs. However, Ctrl-Alt-Delete and ending the task or terminating the process can end your session if it gets infected.

 

I wouldn't like to disable ads since I have no other way of supporting the site, but I might have to do it for a few days if this happens again.

We just recently uninstalled it after it stopped working. My mother handles this stuff, not me.

I do download free software occasionally and sometimes go on filesharing sites, so I've been getting seedy-looking ads that look like fake download buttons lately.

 

Using Firefox now and I haven't been hit yet.
