I think that if there is a heaven for it to truly be the best place it would have to be different for each person in it, for some it would be like a giant library with every book imaginable, For others it would have technology from every time period before and after the person's life, others it might just be a giant garden to work in

Bible was written in Hebrew.

People ignore the fact that Hebrew usually has a lot of meanings for one single word.

In the original scripture, there was neither hell nor purgatory. Just heaven alone.

 

Unfortunately, I guess to gain more followers, they added hell and purgatory, for the sake of more followers... ;O

Just this description of a place where everything is peaceful and nothing bad or new or interesting happens sounds so...boring. Like you'd eventually literally go insane from boredom.

Yeah, everything is just peaceful here when discussing religion. In fact, your one and only Fillypinoy boy is a atheist, who respects all your beliefs. :D

 

Unlike the other atheists here who would over-lecture Christians about proof that there's no God and all that stuff. :lol:

My mom knows an atheist who knows more about the bible then most Christians :P

(Which isn't surprising really....)

 

 

I'm not sure about melted sulfur, but I do remember something about "dip your finger in the water and come cool my tongue"
