I'm actually bad at Game Maker.  Couldn't make a simple game.  I actually made more progress with a higher level language.

It had a bit of a story :P

 

Well the current game is pretty broken :P I implemented something into it 2 years ago that broke 3 major mechanics in the game. But what I implemented was pretty damn important.

Oh trust me Crimson, in programming, when you fix one thing you often break 4 other things.  >_>

 

Yeah, you need to figure out how it broke the other things and fix it, or find a way to avoid breaking them.  Which is why you save often.

Well most compiler will tell you when the syntax is wrong.  So if the punctuation or keywords are invalid, it will tell you, but sometimes things get through.  Still it isn't the biggest problem, more often it's you trying to figure out how to create the puzzle.
