We used to also have DST back during the 90's, as a way to mitigate the already escalating power crisis back a few years after the EDSA Revolution, and they removed it after the crisis was resolved and the power supply back to sufficient levels that time.

 

And now we are facing yet another power crisis that will probably cause some lengthy power outages when summer of 2015 comes along, being aggravated by the rapidly uncontrolably rising population of this already jampacked-sardines-in-a-can island country of 100,000,000 people...

And then our stupid-ass politicans doesn't seem to give a damn of this issue. They all do talk like "we're preparing this, blah blah blah" with no action. They even told us just now that "our power supply is still sufficient even when 2015 summer comes along", yet they told us few months ago that "our power grid is overcapacity and might cause extensive power outages during summer 2015"! Just amazing, I mean are they trying to assume that we are stupid enough that we have forgotten that when time comes along? :okiedokielokie:
