"Wha-" Storm said amazed that this pony had decided to talk to him so fast after what he did and then he heard chivalry knight and then was truly shocked he thought that he went up with firesharp "no reason I just l... Just... Wasn't looking at how fast every pony else was going and chivalry knight she was wondering why I was going so slow" storm replied while trying to avoid eye contact "this one will be the death of me" he thought while lookin at firecracker and since she wanted him to go faster he took flight and fflew up the stares to the rest of the group without waiting for a resonse

Said skitter with a laugh and then trotted towards Firesharp to hear what she was saying.

Thought Skitter trying to fill up the time.

Chivalry was about to respond to Storm, however he seemed to be off in a hurry. "Eh... I guess he's not the talkative type." Chivalry says while scratching his head. He then noticed what Skitter had said. "Oh uh, yeah, looks like you guys forgot about me haha, anyway I'm here so let's climb up these stairs, ya?" Chivalry starts walking to the top of the stair case.

Storm looked back at firecracker e shook his head to clear it he needed to focus on stopping the time mare he landed a he got about half way to the group and slowly climbed the stairs stil wanting to hang back but not wanting to be clos to the others if he wasn't careful firecracker would brake down the mental wall he spent yeas getting in place and that would spell disaster for him

Firecracker flew behind the others to make sure they didn't get left behind again.  When they reached the top and joined the group, Color Spark turned to her sister.

"I was wondering where you went."

"Stormtwister was being a slowpoke, so i went to make sure he didn't get left behind!" Fire beamed.

Chivalry makes it to the top of the stairs and looks around. it seemed as though that everypony was there. "well then, I guess it's time to see what this is about, ya?" Chivalry said with a smile. "Oh and Fire Sharp, you really need to invest in an elevator, haha!" Chivalry tried to joke around and lighten the mood.

Fire Sharp laughed at the Blue stallions joke, it was nice to be able to laugh. Even if it were the right time for it.

Fire looked at all of the ponies in front of her, they were going to do something incredible pretty soon and she only had one way to be with them.

"Alright, everyone. This is the room where you'll start your journey, all communication will come through here and the first part of the machine will always be here. So that you may have a chance to come back."

Fire looked at all the ponies again, she was going to have to explain to them what was going to happen.

 

"The time machine is in 2 parts, the first one stays here as a fixed point in time. It will always be here at this exact moment in this time. The second part is much smaller than what we have here, and that one you'll have to carry with you. The device has been simplified so that it'll be easier for you to use."

Fire took a small pebble like thing off of the table behind her. It lighted up in her hoof, a sure sign that it was ready to use.

 

"When it lights up it means that it can take you guys to wherever you need to be, probably to follow the mare of time. All you have to do is press the button and it take you guys to whenever, you don't need to touch hoofs or anything. It already has all of  your signatures encoded into it. Though it will only activate near an area where it has large amount of time energy, and I would suggest that to not go straight away. Sometimes the Mare of time gets sloppy and we don't want you to miss out on anything that could help you stop her."

Fire put the small thing back on the table.

 

"You can only have low class weapons, we can't have you taking high tech stuff to a place where they have never seen technology before. You'll also have food and water for a little while but that'll probably not last long in your journey. You'll also have walkie talkies, which you can contact us at any point of time. Though, like I said, be wise with where you use it."

Fire pointed to the walkie talkies lined up on the table next to the device. 

 

"Any questions? Now would be the time to ask before we get you equipped and send you off."

 "I don't have any" storm said " id like two daggers for my weapon if that ok" storm took flight he hated being on the ground for more than a few minutes, although he go more then a foot or two up it made him feel better that he was in the air. then he thought of a question

"who will be in charge of the group? we need some one to be the leader so that there will be no fights as to who we should listen to"

Chivalry looks at the sword on his back. "Does this sword on my back count as a low class weapon? I hope so cause this is a special sword from my kingdom in Killik. I really would dislike to part with it, you know?" Chivalry smiles at Fire, hoping to keep his sword.

Neither Colour Spark nor Firecracker liked the idea of weapons, much less using them, but they had already signed up for this. 

"I dunno what I want for my weapon if I have to choose," Firecracker said from the air, looking down at her sister. "What about you, Sparky?"

The orange unicorn, shook her head, her red mane following the motion. "My talent is changing the colors and brightness of things.Do you really think I'd have any clue? if anypony out of the two of us were to know the most about dangerous things, it would be you."

"My fireworks are completely safe!" Fire pouted.

Spark just rolled her eyes.

"If its special and your good with it then sure you can keep it. It looks low class from here but I think that if you meet somepony from your kingdom then keep it hidden, it may tip the balance that we have been able to keep."

"I would recommend that you have something to defend yourself with, though you can go without. You are going to be fighting somewhere along the line and there may be situations where you have to fight in order to get out."

Chivalry's eyes gleamed "Wait, you mean there might be a chance where I can see Killik again? You can't be serious, this is amazing!" Chivalry smiles and laughs "Please Fire, you must allow me to see it again, before-" Chivalry stops talking before he could say the rest of his sentence. "before... before uh, before I get back in this time, ya thats it. Hehe."

Fire Sharp looked at the ponies infront of her, she wanted them to get off as soon as possible but they did need to go over all the safety things.

"You can pick a leader when you get there, but for now I just need someone to take the device. What you have right now for weapons is fine, and You guys can take some low class ones out of the cupboard over there."

Fire Sharp pointed to the wooden door just behind her.

"well since I don't have any weapons besides my hoofs I should get some"strom said as he flew to the cupboard and found to obsidian daggers "these will be perfect" strom said before walking back to the group "I'll take it till wendecide on a leader"
