Tom Snyder 4,112 January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 Not to me, no. But i did have something happen to my relative one time.I can't remember the street name but they lived in a small house with 1 bedroom, a kitchen, bathroom, and a living room. So connie had put her purse on the table and went to the bath, comes out five minutes later to find her purse missing.so we are all looking for it, and i find it on the bed. Now she has no pets at just lives by herself. So nobody was there to move it, we had no idea how it got there or what did it. //// My persona and OC: Candy Star //// Ask me anything: Ask Candy Star //// My Music //// //// My DA: (OC requests available) ////

Peppermint Larry 203 July 9, 2016 Share July 9, 2016 I have a story that is more creepy than paranormal. But it's 100% true. So there are these things called "Time-out dolls". They are dolls the size of a toddler, posed to lean their front side against a wall or corner as if they are in time-out. Many are just faceless. I've only seen about 3 in my life, which all belonged to my grandmother, so I can only assume it's traditionally dressed in someone's baby clothes they have out-grown. Here is a picture of one I found off the internet: So around the time I was in 5th grade, my grandmother had given me one that had my old clothes on it. I kept it in my bedroom. However, within the next few months, I would have been switching bedrooms due to my aunt moving out into her own place. Once I had moved my stuff into the new room, my old room had become a "junk" room- we'd throw a bunch of random stuff in there that we didn't really plan on touching ever again. Lots of old computer monitors and cables and such. My mother had decided to move in with us, and she was going to have that old bedroom. So, I went in there and cleaned everything out. Then I remembered... My doll isn't in here. It's not in the room, it's not in the closet. It's definitely not in my new room. And I know I did not dream it up, because a shoe came off of it and I had it right there in my old room's floor. I've moved houses twice since then. That house is now boarded up, and abandoned due to family drama that had taken place. I often think about the faceless doll, sitting alone in there. In the dark.

Dreambiscuit 9,556 July 10, 2016 Share July 10, 2016 (edited) When I was very little, my family and I lived in Virginia and went for a walk in the woods. Off the beaten track we stumbled across the grave of a 15 year old boy from the civil war. This wasn't in a cemetery, just off in the woods by itself. My mom, who has a very strong maternal instinct, was really affected by the tragedy of someone dying so young, and later that night, after we returned home, she felt a presence there that she was certain was the boy from the grave. There was nothing negative, but he may have picked up on her sympathetic energy. My brother had an encounter at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR when he was staying in the Governor's Suite there. When he tried to open a door, it was like someone was holding it shut from the other side. When he finally pushed his way in, he heard a loud sound like someone clearing his throat in one corner of the room. The Crescent is famous for its hauntings and now we can see why. As for myself personally, I've had two minor encounters. When I lived in the midwest I worked in an 1890s Village comprised of vintage buildings assembled into a village over a cave attraction. It was reputed to be haunted and some EVPs were even collected. I heard footsteps once and went to investigate only to find there was no one there. This is minor and could be explained in many ways besides the supernatural so I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it's interesting to consider. My other experience was in Alamos, Sonora Mexico, staying at a hacienda that was rumored to be haunted by it's original owner. This was another instance of disembodied footsteps, this time in the middle of the night. Animals were also said to react to him when no one else could see anyone there, but I didn't experience that aspect directly. All things considered, the footsteps were enough for me! frecklesareblooming 225 July 10, 2016 Share July 10, 2016 This isn't creepy, per se, but interesting. My dog passed away nearly a year ago. While outside, he had the habit of whining at the door when the garbage truck came, and I'd usually open it for him to come in. Two or three weeks ago, when the truck came, I heard his whining at the door. Sounded exactly the same. My other dog even noticed it, too. It could have been a trick of the mind, but it was still amazing. 1 "When you're rife with devastation, there's a simple explanation: you're a toymaker's creation trapped inside a crystal ball." Midnight Scribbler 1,705 August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 I have a bizarre one, and I wouldn't really count this as creepy, but moreso just very strange and.. well simply put, unexplainable by any current scientific thing by my knowledge. Around Christmas eve this last year, I stayed at my parent's place. My brother and I have single beds in the basement we stay on when we're there for holidays. During my stay, one night I dreamt very vividly that I was talking with someone, and had a very solid conversation going, when suddenly I woke up. I checked my iPod for the time, and it was around 3AM, so I kind of rolled over and thought about going back to sleep. I was running over, in my head, the last couple things that were said in my dream, because of how strange they seemed. I had a sentence in mind to reply to the character I was speaking with in this dream, and a moment later something very.. VERY bizarre happened. In his sleep, my brother rolled over to face me, and spoke the exact words I was thinking of saying in the dream I had. I tried to see if he was awake by asking him, but he was dead to the world. I have no idea how he somehow took the exact words out of my head, but he did. I can't explain that. All I can think is, it seems to give some credence to the idea of telepathy or some kind of remote neural link. SquipyCheetah 449 August 13, 2016 Share August 13, 2016 I've had so many paranormal encounters, it's not even funny. From seeing my cat who died when I was a kid around the house to major cold spots in the middle of a beach. I guess my scariest encounter was two or three years ago. I was home alone for a few hours and on that particular day, the cold spots and feeling of being watched was so much that I couldn't just ignore it like I normally would. I decided to knock on the wall and saying that if there was something there to knock back. I got a response. I thought it might be a coincidence, so I went into the bathroom and said to shut the door to further prove their presence. Imagine my reaction when the door slowly fell shut. I was not scared per say. I was more interested than anything. I did not tell my parents about this and I have since had encounters like this before but never on the scale it was on this time. If the spirit/s is/are still here, I really hope so.
