Luna manages a half-smile at Blast and suddenly realizes that somepony has accepted her for once, which floods Luna with a feeling of happiness. She hugs Blast. "Thank you so much for accepting us... We hope we can call you our friend..." The mare then suddenly has a question to ask of Blast. "Also, we've always heard ponies say 'I'... Do others not speak in the royal 'We' anymore? We were raised to always use 'We' when referring to ourselves."

(Wayell, sorry I'm late guys, I'm gonna follow this thread from now on to make sure I don't miss out on anything)

 

Flash Click was comfortably seated in the seats way in the back of the Ferry, a distance away from the rest of the students, admiring his new camera. It would print out the picture the moment he took it.

 

Just then, he heard an announcement asking for the students to take out their student ID's. Flash quickly grabbed his from his bag and waited for someone to come and waited for the ticket collector to come by.

"...Yes, that looks fine" The ticket collector said to a nearby pony, he spotted Flash up ahead with his ID ready. He walked up to him and checked the ID "Uhh... Yepp. That looks fine"

Suddenly, the speakers came to life again.

"Attention all passengers. We have now docked at Aella Island. When you come out the boat, please talk to the security stallions by the gate. That will be all"

Blast was a bit perplexed. "You're taught differently? I didn't know. I honestly don't remember a time when everypony said "We" or anything like that. You should practice on saying the singular "I" instead of the plural "We." It's kind of just modern slang." Blast heard to monitor go off. "I guess we gotta get off. I'll see you later, Luna." Blast begins walking to the front of the ship.

 Blast walks up to the security stallions. "Hello, fellow stallions. I guess you want to see my ID?"

Flash got out of his seat and walked out of the sitting area and on to the deck. He saw a some of the other students getting ready and one who was already with the security stallions. 

 

Well, this is it. Aella College.

 

He walked up behind the pony who was currently having his ID being checked.

"Yes sir, just stand still for a minute" The security stallion focused a camera on Blast and an x-ray of him came up on screen "Nothing dangerous" He said as he switched it off

 

Handing a map to Steve, the security stallion informs him "Right now, we're at the docks. If you just go straight ahead, through town center and carry on, you'll end up at the college"

Another security stallion noticed Flash waiting and came on over "I'll just check your ID. Stand still for a moment sir" He did the same at the other security stallions and handed the ID back.

 

"By the way... just so you know, Aella doesn't take kindly to non-earth ponies" He turns and shows a pair of broken wings on his back, bandaged up "I learnt that the hard way"

Aqua got up and walked towards the line to get off and go to aella, but there was a Celestiadamm line, “oh buck!" Aqua told to the line,while she waited, she checked her bits..“94032,hmmmm seems enough to get me a couch and tv for my room, and my mom will probly mail me spectra everyweek or so"

A security stallion walked up to Aqua "Right, I'll just check your ID. Stand still for a moment please" He looked at the ID and checked his x-ray monitor "Looks like your good"

 

He presented a map "Just go straight ahead and you'll find the college. Dormitories are right next to it. Have a good day"

Flash started making his way to the college but was worried. The security stallion told him Pegasus were not so popular in Aella. Did that mean he would get bullied because of his race?

 

He saw the college down low and landed at the college gates. He looked back, he was the first one to the college. The gates were open and he trotted right inside and took a good long look at the building. It wasn't bad looking but it looked as if it could do with a bit of maintenence.

Cherilee noticed the Pegasus walk in. She could tell it was a student from the bags and the curious look she had on her face.

 

"Well hello there, you look like you're a new student" Cherilee said with a smile, she glances over at her watch "My, you're quite early. I hope all the new ponies here are like you"

"Will do." Blast walked off the docks and began running through the town to the university at an even pace. He was excited to finally experience college. When he got to the college, he entered his dorm and began unpacking. He felt a little lonely without Light Streak there to keep him company. He was sure he was just tinkering back in Ponyville.

Leo burst through the door with a 6-pack of beer and travel bags.

"WOOOOOOOOOOO! Let's get this party start-" He looks around and see only Blast "Aw man, this room only holds two people?"

 

He closed the door and set his stuff on the bed "Say... you look quite familiar... It's good to meet you regardless!"

"You looked familiar too. Hmmm..." He examined the stallion that happened to be bunking with him. Then, it hit him. He remembered his adventure on Gaia. He met a marine pony, one that was around his age. He saw a missing leg on the stallion that had a built replacement. It looked like one Light Streak would make. At that moment, he knew who the stallion. "Leo! Long time no see, man!"

“Thank you, have a splendid day!" Aqua said to the guard, then she shuffled through the horde of ponies and got in her dorm, she then took a sip of her beer, put her many 24 packs of beer in the minifridge, turned on the television and relaxed on the couch and watched the canterlot news.

After taking a few minutes to regain her composure, Luna walked up to the security stallion. He seemed to be bored checking student IDs all day. Luna reached into her saddlebags and pulled out her student ID. "Is this card sufficient?" She said as she pulled a soda from her saddlebags, opened it, and took a sip.

"Computer programming. I know that someday, on some adventure, Light Streak won't be with me and I'll need to know a thing or two about computers and such." Blast got out a case of soda and drank it from the bottle. He kicked back on the futon and put his hind legs up. "How have you been, Leo?"

The security stallion glances at the ID then checks the x-ray monitor.

"Everything looks okay" He gives a map to Luna "Just go straight ahead and you'll find the college"

 

He then noticed the horn on Luna's head.

"Also, you might wanna... steer clear of the West district in town. They can quite racist"

"It's been good. Hoping to have a fun time here at this college. Might try and throw a party at some point" Leo opened up his bags and started putting away his stuff "College starts tomorrow I think. But I'm still gonna head over there and see who the teachers are"

"Thank you for the advice." She said as she was returned her student ID. After a while of walking around, and browsing the cute shops around town, Luna finally arrived at Aella College. "Well... Here it is. Aella College.Wonder what it's like..." She said to herself as she opened the gates and progressed to the doors of the college and sighed as she opened the doors, walking inside.

"College sounded fun when I was human back on Earth. I never got to go, though. But now, I finally get to experience it." Blast said in a happy tone. He finished unpacking a couple of minutes later. "I guess I'll tag along, too. The teachers here can't be as terrible as some of the students."

The college was mostly empty, except the odd janitor and teacher working on getting it presentable for tomorrow. Two voices were heard down a nearby corridor and were getting louder.

 

"Can we check out the P.E. department now?"

 

"No Lyra, that's too far away. Science is just around the corner"

 

"Bon Bon! You said we could!"

 

"Use your indoor voice please! I don't want to get told off"

Luna decided to follow the voices and ask why the school was so empty and silent. "Excuse us- Me, but do either of you know why the whole college is so emp-" And she slipped on a banana peel, landing on her face and slowly, but surely, getting up, and continues to speak, not noticing she is having a nosebleed. "Anyway... Do either of you know why the College is so empty right now?" She said to the mares.

Flash looked at his watch too, ''Yeah! I am early...I guess I flew here pretty fast. Anyway, which is the dormitory?''

 

''Down the corridor and then left.''

 

Flash said thanks to her and trotted to his designated room and he opened to find his romemate sitting there.

 

''Hello, I'm Flash Click. Whats your name?''

He switched on the TV and changed to the news channel "You thinking of getting a job here? Like, a part time one?"

"Eurgh! Blood" Lyra cringed

 

Bon Bon rolled her eyes and pulled out a tissue "College starts tomorrow. We're just looking around, getting a feel for the place"

 

"And see if Soarin and Spitfire are here!"

The doctor perked up when he saw another pony walk into the room "Ah, hello!" He jumped off the sofa and walked over "My name is... Whooves, but people call me the doctor"
