I actually made something, or, how much I love the pen tool

So this is my OC, Rosy Heart.

 

 

Made with the pen tool in Photoshop. Seriously, I love that thing. I finally learned how to properly use it, and I actually made something passable as "art". Admittedly, I'm kind of proud of it. I already made some stuff with the pen tool, but they were rather sloppily made, since I had little to no idea as to how to use it.

 

I'd like some feedback (or even a straight workshop, if possible), so, what do you guys think?

Not bad, the pen tool can take a bit of getting used to before you get some solid feel for it.  But it's a pretty cute OC, I must admit. :3
Though, not a fan of the red-green since that's one of my colorblind weaknesses xD I'm sure it looks better in your eyes though.  
All in all, pretty good, I'm sure your work will get even better.

This looks very nice! I like her swirly mane. She is missing eyelashes, but thats probably on purpose.

 

I've never used Photoshop, I've always wanted to try it out though.

Awesome I wish that I could draw like this my only complaint would be that since she's slightly sideways the muzzle would stick out a little take that as a grain of salt though because I can't draw

Thanks for the kind words, plus the good advice! I'll try to improve, still getting used to digital art.

I really like it! It's clean, which is something I like in fan art. 

 

If I had to have one criticism, it's that she looks like she doesn't have a snout, making her look less pony. That's just me, though.
