I Drew Applejack...?

Okay I was really bored today so I started to draw Applejack and then I started to color it with marker.

 

Then the marker was running out of ink...so I had to search for another one. So it took me about an hour and a half... xD 

 

And yes it was on green paper because I didn't realize I'd get into the coloring... Sorry about that :s

I know there are a a few errors here and there, but you got the whole design and concept pretty well!

Nice job! If you just work on making her body a little less, um, round? it would be amazing! And the cutie mark maybe a little bigger. Other than that, you got the shape of the head down pretty well, and the eyes and legs are very well done. Awesome work!

You're right...her tail does look a little small. 

 

But if you see the other replies I made, my sister was shaking the table I was drawing on, and she wouldn't really go away.

This is a pretty good drawing! I could only wish to draw like that! XD seriously, I'm terrible at drawing. The only problem I see that hasn't already been pointed out is that the mane is small. In the show, it hangs all the way down to the bottom of the chest. Other than that though, it's really good!

Nice job.  You even got some shading for Applejack's undercarriage.  For a couple tips I always remember, try to keep your strokes as uniform as possible to avoid making it look like you colored her in in patches.  If you need an example to understand what I mean, just ask.

Man, this is my first Applejack picture ever. But I practice on pony bases before I actually drew this. If you keep practicing the bases of the ponies first it might be a little easier. I don't even know if you can understand what I mean because I don't even know how to really explain it xD

I didn't mean to shade her front leg like that...I was trying to find another marker because one ran out of ink and it looked super similar and all of a sudden it like bled everywhere and got darker. (So I tried to make it look semi-okay and fit in xD)

Well that different marker was a great choice.  What I really noticed after the front-left leg was the inside of her back-right.  That made some great shading there.

Why thank-you. I have to work on shading to a more advanced level soon. Plus I am getting into digital art as well.

Nice job, but the body is a bit awkward looking, and the right (my right) eye looks smaller than the other. But the face still looks good just the right (my right) eye is the only flaw, of the face that is. Anyways, you can try using (what people told me to use all the time) a pony anatomy chart, to keep everything in proportion and all that.
