Button's moms cutie mark

Ok so when I first saw Buttons adventure and saw Button's moms cutie mark I didn't think much about it. But when I did I though it looked like a cutie mark for being a mother. Then I thought, how would a young filly get a mothering cutie mark?

So what do you think, have an idea how she got that cutie mark? Or do you have an idea of what it really is?

Well, personally, she might have got her cutie mark for being a mother when doing a job like filly/foal-sitting. She was filly/foal-sitting a pony one day and her cutie mark just appeared from the easy way she interacted with fillies and foals.

 

It could also mean that she's great with children.

The milk bottle and heart symbolizes that she is not only great with children, but she enjoys taking care of them and making sure that she gives her foals as much love as possible. Also, that she is very experienced in taking care of fillies and foals.

If you want a weird way of thinking, she could be a 'teen-mum'. She does look quite young compared to Mrs. Cake (well, to me anyway.)

However, being a foal-sitter may be a better explanation.

Well, by the looks of it, it must mean she's a very loving mother who earned her cutie mark though caring and loving foals.

 

Makes sense, also, I can't think of another possibility other than that.

Guys, that's not what the question is asking. It's pretty obvious that the cutie mark is for being motherly, but the typical age a pony gets their cutie mark isn't really an age where they can display any motherly skills... seeing as they aren't yet a mother.

 

The way I see it, it's as simple as implied. Although it would be a very young age to be a foal sitter, it could be done. Think Apple Bloom taking care of the Cakes instead of Pinkie Pie... someone of Apple Bloom's size might just be able to manage it! Given, she'd have the skills anyway if that was going to be her cutie mark.

I keep getting the strange thought that Button's mom's very special talent is that she's a wet nurse. Does Equestria have lactation pumps so you can give donated milk to maternity hospitals?

I suppose she earned her cutie mark from taking care of some foals. She mothered them and poof, cutie mark. Since she is a great mother, it makes sense to me. I can't think of any other way.

Actually, I really wouldn't be that surprised if she was a teen mom. She does look very young (and very attractive, if I do say so myself).

 

In terms of her cutie mark, maybe she just is very motherly or something, idk, lol
