I'd say just work on the eyes a little more, and maybe make the hair flow a little more naturally. I know eyes have always been a pain from an angle since they have to be similar but aren't the same. The hair should be a little easier to improve upon as you practice, though. As for the hat, I think it's really only slightly too big, but mainly just really far back on the head so it looks even larger. I always have problems with applejacks hat, it really annoys me, but I don't get what you mean about the hair I honestly think it's fine. But whatever. The only thing I really see is that the hat is tipped back a little bit too far. I know it's kind of hard to draw something at an angle. I can't wait to look at your other work! I think this particular piece is one to be proud of, as all drawings are. One more step to perfection and the ultimate goal for any artist, and the feel of progres might be hard to sense, but its there, for every page you make.
