Whenever I see you online, I'm sending you an invite.

Ha, Legendary Halo CEA is so easy with infinite ammo...

Most of the firefights are finished by grenade spamming :P

Sure, but it's usually pretty noisy in my house so I can't guarantee that I will be using a mic :P

I noticed you were playing Legendary...how many levels have you completed on L so far?

I've gotten through the first 2.

Same here. I was doing it cooperatively with PlasmaStormX.

I'm sorry, what was that? I was looking at the scoreboard. You know, when it became mathematically impossible for you to win the day before I played you in Reach? Cup. Stays. Here.

There was time & bullshit... (but mostly time...)

we need to redo that over...

You guys have never seen me play -_-

So...what'll it be? A match of regular slayer? Snipers only?

I'm up for planning a 3 player FFA match.

Hmm... I'm going to do the obvious and order the Halo Games in reverse order and briefly give my opinion. (As in Lower the Better)

(I'm not really saying any of these games are bad... well Wars a little, but I am comparing them to the other Halo titles)

Halo Wars- Do I need to mention why this one's the worst...

Halo 3- Actually Halo Wars almost beat this one... I was so hyped for it too but the campaign felt half done. Could've used more work. Boring Multiplayer in my opinion.

Halo Reach- Twas Okay... Campaign was not very memorable in my opinion. No level really stood out. It just barely beats H3 since Forge was greatly upgraded and the Multiplayer was a bit better

Halo 3 ODST- Not really a game, more like an expansion pack... an expansion pack that beat out its source game AND ITS SEQUEL! Firefight was a neat idea. Vidmaster Endure is probably one of my best memories from video game history! The Campaign was great in my opinion especially alone... in the dark city... on Legendary. Wish the health system was more medpack based to feel more like ground troops than Spartans!

Halo CE/A- It's the original... there's not much else to say...

Halo 2- I had the hardest time deciding which was better Halo CE or 2 so I had to go with the game that introduced me and most of the world to console online multiplayer!

As for Halo 4, I'm not all that hyped for it. I'll get to it when it comes out but if I had to hazard a guess it's going to be alot like Halo 3 which for me is terrible news! Besides I've grown tired of the online shooters though I look forward to playing it's single and local multiplayer simply because it's more Halo!

Yes, I'd like to know. Why does Halo Wars get so much hate? I can agree the campaign was garbage, but it's multiplayer is great, despite it not being the most deep RTS.

Anyways....anybody want to play some Reach or Halo Wars, just hit me up.

Doesn't sound to me like you're much of a Halo fan :P

I disagree with everything you said O.o

Sorry if it came across that way. Normally when I describe things it tends to come across that way! But one can be a fan and disagree with certain aspects of the series! :P (Example: Many Star Wars fanatics despise the prequel movies but love just about everything else with a passion)

On the contrary I loved Halo CE and Halo 2! In my opinion Halo 3 is when they started going in a direction I didn't like. (shorter less memorable Campaigns) That's not to say they are bad games either! In comparison to most other games the Halo franchise is a gleaming trophy in a sea of garbage! And I've put countless hours over last summer playing Halo Reach with friends online!

I love Halo since it sits in an awkward position. It isn't as fast paced and hectic as the old FPSs of yore, but it isn't as grim, brown, and "realistic" as the shooters of today!

Yes, I'd like to know. Why does Halo Wars get so much hate? I can agree the campaign was garbage, but it's multiplayer is great, despite it not being the most deep RTS.

...but the campaign is the main part of the game! This is why I despise a lot of modern games because they figure let's make a good multiplayer and slap on the campaign as an after thought! When I played Halo Wars campaign, I was mostly saying to myself, "Can't wait for this thing to be over!" Which is a terrible feeling for a game to give you! The game shouldn't feel like a job, it should be about fun!

Also I agree that it wasn't a deep RTS. It was like as a kid I went to the community pool and I saw the big deep pool but then the lifeguard pulls you back and says "No console child, you have to go in the Kiddie Pool!" It was a decent attempt to make Console RTSs do-able and I had fun playing multiplayer with a friend and making as many Grunts as possible and send them to their deaths! But when trying to play the actual multiplayer I didn't find it fun, I'm not a fan of multiplayer RTS should sum that up quickly.

A game is great if I play it and look forward to playing it again, a game is good if I enjoyed playing it the first time even if I'm a bit reluctant to give it another go, a game is bad if I don't enjoy it, a game is terrible if I regret playing it in the first place. I say that's a very simplistic, but generally effective way to scale the quality of a game. So I'd say that CE, 2, and ODST are great, 3 and Reach are good, and Wars falls into the bad category.

Whichever gametype you feel most confident in. Your rules, your game, your lost.

I'm not really a big RTS guy myself, but I still enjoyed Halo Wars. I probably enjoyed it more since I bought only a few months ago for $15, but it wouldn't say it's a bad game. Most people I've seen hating on Halo Wars haven't even played it, so I like seeing some actuall reasons for not liking it.

You have to admit, Halo Wars had the best cutscenes.

Why yes... yes it did! Watching just the cut scenes minus the gameplay Halo Wars was like a Halo movie!

Probably the only reason I cared to finish the game! :D
