Status Updates on a mobiles web browser

When I go on the Forums on my phone (which is quite often.) It would be good to be able to update your status and/or comment on other peoples status without going into the full version of the site (as this takes ages to load compared to the mobile version.)

 

So can you possibly make status updates on a mobiles web browser easier to use please?
