I leave you with this post for tonight. and no one make comments about Hasbro and money, this is just an opinion. During every season there has been an antagonist for each element of harmony, due to this Season 4 has to have a major enemy. Some call it the enemy/element of disharmony. could it be the last enemy?

Maybe I'm just being stupid again, but if you ask me this really doesn't make any sense.
You never really gave any reason why it would end in season four, you basically just explained the villains so far

By what logic?  First of all, which antagonists are "elements of disharmony"?  Second, no direct connection between the villains and the elements has been made.  All the antagonists gravitate towards Twilight.  Finally, why would this end the series?  People have said that Magical Mystery Cure feels more like a series finale than a season finale.  We can't use the ending of an arc to judge when this show will end, because the production team doesn't want it that way.

Theoretically the show could have ended with Twilight Sparkle earning her wings and crown, but I have no reason to believe it would. There are many loose ends to tie up and possibilities to explore. Ending the show now would probably result in a backlash from the community. There may be a significant shift in the series, but the end is at least one more season away.

 

That being said, I would like to hear some points on why the show would end. It would be interesting to hear more about why it is a possibility. I might post a few points if nobody else does, just to keep things interesting.

The show is filler season, that's it's nature. As much as I would like it to go deeper than that it's made of one-shot episodes and big epic things only happen in premieres and finales.

 

HOWEVER, with how many bigger episodes they've been sneaking in since the later half of season 2, I'm optimistic that S4 might be the best season yet.  

 

As for the show ending, we just have to cross out fingers it doesn't. Even getting this the far the show is on borrowed time by kids cartoon standards.
