DJ Alicorn gets to the guest room and finds her lying in the bed, severely injured. He taps his horn on her chest and heals her completely, but she's still asleep. DJ sits next to the bed, waiting for her to wake.
The dragon lands in front of his house, opening the door, and inviting Aurora to come inside. Once inside, he heads straight for the room the two ponies are in. "Ah, you've healed her already. Good. She wont be awaking anytime soon, I'm afraid. When we found her, she was battling some sort of dark Alicorn. Had this weird green and purple magic. We were able to get her out of there before she was killed. But she was injured, as you could tell." DJ Alicorn just sits next to the bed, waiting.

Derpy sighs and shakes her head "I...I haven't told anypony this yet,Sparkshower...but..."she looks around and whispers in her ear "I love Aurora..."she whispers,a blush crossing her face,she then goes on to say a little louder "he...he is a good stallion,I like spending time with him,he's been there through it all,you know?...he laughs with me,we play a lot of stuff together...we have a little in common,such as...muffins~ mmmmm~"she smiles and flattens her ears,blushing with her nose wrinkling up "heh..."she murmurs and shakes her head. Aurora blinks at DJ and then to the mare in the bed,he blinks and sits,slowly,he then blinks,his eyes turning completely blue,his eyes then reflected back the images of him seeing through the mare's flesh and skin right to her bones and vital organs,he sighs and blinks,his eyes going normal.

Jaeger rested his head on top of Lyra's smiling down at her. Jaeger's eyes slowly began to shut, he was tired but he did not know why and he didn't care at all. He slowly drifted off into sleep, his head resting on Lyra's, his arms wrapped around her, her warmth comforted him...made him feel safe.

Lyra blushed and looked up at him with her eyes,she then yawned and fell asleep as well,she felt so safe and comfortable and warm now,its almost like before...almost... she slept soundly in the arms of her...well...crush,I guess you could say,she really liked this stallion...maybe even loved him,he was truly good and cared about her...unlike any other stallion besides Aurora...

Jaeger began to dream...he dreamed about all they had been through the past couple of days, he dreamed about Aurora, DJ, Derpy, Spark, and Lyra. They were all together sitting around a table talking and laughing, Jaeger say next to Lyra he smiled and turned his head to grab a present out of his bag to give to her when he picked his hear back up everyone was....gone, they had left, maybe dead. He screamed and jolted himself awake breathing heavily. He looked down at Lyra and held her tighter, afraid his dream had been a reality.

 

(Jaeger is paranoid about that stuff.)

Lyra blinked and opened her eyes and looked up at him,her eyes wide "huh? Yours kinda...hurting me..."she says and coughs once,he was hugging really tight and he was suffering from it,she coughed again and started started pushing softly on his arms and hooves.

Jaeger's eyes wide he looked down at Lyra, realizing how tight is hug was. He let go instantly. "I'm...I'm sorry, I just had a nightmare that's all....I'm sorry." he said thinking back on the dream, a tear forming in the corner of his eye. "L-lyra? I need to tell you something....." he said trailing off with a choke in his voice.

Sparkshower smiled "I don't blame you I love him too, but I had my chance with him and I screwed it up, majorly. I'll do what I can to help you win him, but I can already tell it won't be too hard a task. I want you to do better with him than I ever could.." she sighed "Better than I'll ever get the chance to do again."

Lyra blinked and looked up at him and smiled slightly "anything."she says. Derpy looks up at Sparks and smiled slightly "y-you really think so?"she asked softly,her eyes shimmering slightly in happiness,she really did love Aurora,he had been with her through thick and thin,rain and shine...

Jaeger fiddled his hoofs around, shifting his eyes. He took a deep breath and looked at Lyra. "I....I like you Lyra, I like you a lot. You seem to calm me down whenever I'm around you, and I feel....wonderful." he said in a soft tone giving a slight smile, hoping he hadn't done something wrong.

Sparkshower nodded "I know so, wich is why I will help you in any way I can. You're a good mare, i can see that, i could have chosen no better for him. hhe needs someone like you, someone who is pure light on the inside. I would be happy if both of you were to end up together. Because you would make him happy, and thats all I want for him."

Lyra blushed a deep red and shot up on her hooves "y-y-you...l-l-like m-me?!"she asked,her eyes wide in suprise and shock as her face was redder than a rose,she gulped softly and said,in a rather cracked voice, "I-I didnt know anypony would like me ever again!"she exclaims,her face showing mixed emotions,she blinks a couple times,standing in silence as she stares a him. Derpy blinked "you really think I'm all good?...well...I wouldnt say that...I've done some pretty messed up things..."she says,looking down at the ground "...I...I'm so clumsy,so foolish...I don't think anypony like Aurora,ESPECIALLY Aurora,I should add,would like me...he;s so precise,so agile and fast...while I'm always stuck in last,I could never keep up with him,even if I tried...no matter what..."she says and looks up at Spark "...I...I...He...I..."she blinks as her eyes derp up "...he is just...I think he's way too good for a stupid mare like me..."she says,her head lowering to the ground as she lays down,she then covers her face and starts crying again.

Jaeger nodded slowly, blushing a bit deeper. "Yeah, I like you....I like you a lot, I was just afraid tI say anything." he said softly giving a small smile. This was degrading to him....his size, his attitude...all crushed, but since it was Lyra he was with it didn't matter anymore, he was happy that he had the courage to actually say something.

Sparkshower shook her head "What you do by accident does not define what is in your heart, I have met you many times and I don't think I've ever seen you thinking maliciously,ever. You have a pure heart, just because you stumble doesn't make you bad and just because you don't understand doesn't make you stupid. And being the one left behind? he needs someone like you, someone he needs to look back for not struggle to keep up with, you're exactly what he needs,And while I'm sad that that mare could not be me I'm glad it ended up being you, youre the only one ive met that i can tell for sure would never hurt him willingly. That makes you better for him in my opinion than anyone ever could be. He needs someone like you, He spent his whole life being helped and striving to catch up, he needs someone to help now he needs someone to slow down for."

DJ Alicorn had been sitting next to the bed for 3 hours now. And finally the mare laying in the bed had woken up. DJ instantly stood up, waiting for words. The mare's eyes opened and she looked right at DJ, who was looking right back. Although something seemed different. The mare looks at DJ and has a confused look on her face "Who are you and why are you here?" . DJ taps the mares head with his horn, and she quickly sits down. "D-DJ?!" DJ looked at the mare with a blank expression. The mare looked at DJ as though he were an enemy "You look different, and your horns a lot bigger. Who are you and what have you done with DJ Alicorn?!" He just sits there, but replies "I am DJ Alicorn. Guardian of the Multiverse, Guardian of the Everfree Forest, and Leader of the Universal Alicorn's." The mare just hugs him, and then sits in front of him. "If you really are DJ, then answer me this: On the night that the incident happened, what did you do to make it happen? Only DJ Alicorn and I would know the answer to this question." DJ looks at her "I got distracted by how beautiful you were that day." They then hugged each other and exited the room. The dragon was sitting in a chair reading a book, with a bowl of gems next to him on a table.

Aurora blinked and looked at them leave,without a word,he turned and walked out,the door opening by itself seemingly,he slowly flies back to the group,Derpy looking up at him "he's here!"she says and smiles,he looks down to her and blinks,his eyes widening a bit before he flies down,she runs and almost hugs him,but stops herself,he smiled slightly before he stepped forward,she then ran again,but she,her derpy self,tripped over her own hoof and started rolling towards him,Aurora not having enough time to react before they collided,then the both rolled and tumbled a little,in the end,Derpy was on top of Aurora,who was almost crying in pain,her rear hoof had hit his private area and was still there,her front hooves here on his chest as her head was just under his chin,she blinked and blushed red "I'm soooooooooooooo sorry Aurora!"she exclaims,Aurora coughing and having a higher pitched voice "your...hoof..."he manages to get out,she blinks and looks under her,seeing her hoof is there,she blushes and instantly jumps off of him,he slowly curled in pain before getting up and looking to be in pain "i-its...ok..."he says and coughs. Lyra blushes and slowly sits back down with him "...well I...I like you too..."she murmurs,she then sees the huge scene and tries her hardest to hold in the bubbling laugh that was forming in her mouth.

Sparkshower smiled and chuckled "looks like she's pinned you aurora." she said this hoping he would get the joke.then something came to mind her head snapped up "Where is twilight sparkle and the other elements of harmony/" she hadnt seen any of them since a few weeks before she left to speak for chrysallis.

Luna looks to Sparkshower "Twilight Sparkle and the others are hidden away in a secret military bunker much deeper into the Everfree Forest. Only 4 people know where that bunker is: Shining Midnight, Celestia, Myself, and Cadence. Although I'm pretty sure DJ Alicorn knows where it is aswell, since this is his forest." Shining Midnight looks to Luna in confusion "I don't know about any bunker in any forest." Luna looked to Shining "You don't? I must have mistaken you for the Royal Watcher. I always see him looking at the bunker at night. Staring at it for hours." Shining shakes his head, trying to remember. "I was wondering what the hay that thing was. I still remember where it is though. It's just under the..." Luna cuts him off and whispers in his ear "I still can't trust them. Maybe Celestia can, but I can't. Don't tell them where it is." Shining chuckled "I highly doubt they'll know where the constellation is, and how to navigate to it."

Jaeger looked up slowly from the ground and connected with Lyras gaze. "R-really? Wow...I guess I can breathe easy now huh?" he said, letting out a slight chuckle, seeing the hug scene as well. He scooted back over closer to Lyra and hugged her softly. -So I guess this is where I pop the question- he thought. "L-Lyra? Will you....be my....marefriend?" he stuttered softly.

Aurora blinks and sighs,he shakes his head before Derpy smiles "sorry again Aurora."she says,Aurora smiling "its ok."he says and looks to Spark,he chuckled and looked back. Lyra blushed red but slowly hugged back and whispered "o-of course..."she whispers softly.

Sparkshower laughed "Is your memory failing you Luna, you seem to forget that I know where that bunker is, you used that bunker for my... problem until you built the stronghold room in the castle." she turned and looked at Derpy and Aurora, for one moment, just one moment, she let the creeping sadness show, on her face but she shook her head and regained her composure.

The dragon looked up from his book to see the two ponies chatting. "Ah, I see she's awaken. Good! Let's have her shoot some things to make sure she's completely fine." DJ leads her over to a circle, and he steps into another circle. DJ looks at her "Fire away at me." She looks slightly shocked, and then amused "What if I hit you?" He chuckles for a moment "I have my permanent physical shield on. Nothing that you can cast will get through it." She looks at him with an irritated face "My magic's gotten stronger since we last saw each other." At that she launched a black orb to DJ who absorbed it and cast it back at her, and she dissipated it. "The same trick huh?" He chuckled again "Fire another, I'll show you another trick. And fire a spell at me that I don't know." She looks to the dragon, who nods, and then she fires what looks to be the same spell at DJ who absorbs it, and fires buck at her, but from ten different directions around her. 2 of the orbs hit her, but don't do any damage. "Your lucky you have an ability that protects you from you own magic." She looks shocked and confused "How did they not hurt me if you conjured up the other 9?" He walks over to her and sits down. "I hacked into your mind and caused you to cast 10 of them after I had absorbed the first one." She looks at him as if he were crazy. "so where's this group you were telling me about?" He points to the east "That'a'way" They bid their farewells to the dragon, and start walking to the group. Eventually DJ gets irritated with walking and teleports there, which the other pony does aswell. "Hello group, I'm back. What are we discussing?"

Jaeger smiled "Awesome...." he said trailing off happily. He heard another voice, it sounded like DJ, he looked up and saw his assumption was correct. He waved happily. "Heya DJ where yah been, who's your friend there?" he asked with a wide smile across his face, pointing at the pony he hadn't seen before. -Let's just hope they arn't a threat- he growled in the back of his mind.

Aurora blinks and looks at DJ "oh your back,SPLENDID!!!WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT DESTROYING YOUR SOUL!!!"he says,his hoof slamming on the ground as blood red lightning struck behind him,the loud,booming thunder ripping across the sky and air waves before his eyes turned normal and he he giggled with Derpy,he looked at DJ and smiled "oh nothing much really,just messing around."he smiles,Derpy running up and placing her head atop of his,Aurora smiling with her. Lyra blushed and smiled before she looked to DJ with a smile.

Sparkshower fell over, laughing. "oh that's priceless, nyou even had me fooled for a second, oh that's great." Sparkshower wiped her eyes and stood up.

 

You won't be laughing in two nights time.
